  1. In 1994, Dick Kwak drove his 1939 Mack FH 280 miles from Ballston Lake, NY to Buffalo, NY for the ATHS National Show. To facilitate the trip, the drive sprockets were changed to give the truck a little more top speed of about 45 mph. The original EO engine had previously been replace with an EY engine. He entered the New State Thruway at the Amsterdam interchange and headed west. Unseasonable cold temperature and rain made for an interesting trip considering the truck had no heater or wipers. After the show, a more leisurely route was chosen for the 280 mile trip home. Must have been one hell of an adventure!
  2. A couple of bulldogs and a huskie dog represented by a 1972 Brockway U360TL with a DD V-12.
  3. Buildings are never big enough.
  4. Hopefully all are carefully considering their local ballots for next Tuesday. The polling center is usually busy so I am planning on packing a lunch.
  5. They trade fairly regularly on ebay in the $5-10 range and up on ebay in worn condition.
  6. I bet he is putting some miles on the Mustang in the cooler Fall temps of the desert.
  7. Looks Good! Mack Trucks did them as a clip but they had all the toys and people needed to get it done.
  8. Nice! A travel size grill.
  9. Glad you found the issue and thanks for reporting back with an update.
  10. Mouse house? Hell, that is a condo!
  11. Lighter fluid or nitromethane? By the way PT. It is really time to upgrade your grille!
  12. Or he is doing something else in his pants!
  13. Did the phone number in the first post not work? 609-381-7795

  15. What kind of cooking are you doing? Flame retardant!
  16. It was easy stuff. GFCI outlet and a timer for a bathroom exhaust fan. The plans for a flux capacitor are kept under lock and key!
  17. I was at my local HD yesterday buying a few electrical items for my Plasma Death Ray project. Eaton BR 15 amp breaker... check. Flexible conduit bushings.... check. Various EMT fittings.... check. These two fellows approach and start asking me where stuff is and how to hook it up. Obviously my attire which consists of blue jeans, a Shelby Racing T shirt, green jacket and black baseball cap looks exactly like the standard orange smock of HD employees. They thanked me for the assistance and were gone. Real life can be fairly entertaining. I wonder when my next shift will be...?
  18. You can check with Mack. Some folks buy a bolt in model such as the one in the link. https://www.stengelbros.net/06530-44K-Mack-Trunnion-Stand-Trapezoidal-Bolt-Pattern-Bronze-Style-Trunnion_p_2477.html

Nice! I wore out a couple Beach Boys cassettes in years past.
  20. That's a shame. Sad to loose vintage trucks.
  21. Ahh! Very interesting information! Maybe with his new found wealth that high rise beach house from his summer vacation could become one of several vacation houses! He probably will make a play on the "Breakers" in Newport so that he can have fresh lobsta everyday! Plus, Jay Leno has his place just down the street.
  22. KooL Pic! The Pete is going for the Rubber Duck look with the fifth wheel position.
  23. When Mack Trucks was all Mack....
  24. Hopefully the winner has a good lawyer and accountant to properly manage that pot of gold!
