  1. Story of my life! I figured Vlad was involved somehow with Winfall Wimmens. Between running a coast to coast DM retrieval service, motorcycle endurance testing and importation of G Wagons, Vlad needed something to keep him busy because there is just nothing good on TV anymore.
  2. Nice find PT! Sort of surprised it hasn't been scooped up. Maybe your next treasure?
  3. Are the batteries wired together to make (2) 12 volt batteries? If so, connect the 12 volt Tender to charge the two batteries together. After a couple of weeks switch to the other set of 2 or buy a second Tender. Tender makes a 6 volt version if you want to maintain separately. Tenders work well and you can check out their connections info on the link. https://www.batterytender.com/Connecting-Chargers
  4. Clean truck running on spokes.
  5. Took this pic several years ago at Macungie. Very clean rig!
  6. Welcome! Have fun with your new project.
  7. Built OEM with a Mack 864 Thermodyne V8 under the hood.
  8. For looks not safety.
  9. Well, that stinks.... Always looking for new business opportunities.
  10. This little rig looks plenty rough but as I took the picture the engine was just quietly ticking away at idle. The model 15 was rated as a 3/4 ton truck. Would have shared the road with Mack AC and AB's.

  11. Nice pics Staxx!
  12. Winfall Wimmens branch office...? Are all the branch offices company owned or might there be a franchise available?
  13. I haven't had any luck with a kit. I was able to get some heavy machine springs from Fastenal to replace the broken. The ball studs and pucks were OK. You guys have probably already checked with Then and Now so maybe give Northwestern a try. I sort of remember the dimension of 1.25" for the ball??? Maybe they can match something? http://www.northwesternautosupply.com/
  14. Engine 2 for Voorheesville, NY (retired) shown at Ballston Spa.
  15. It had an antique Vermont license plate instead of the red municipal plate so I would say private. Didn't see anyone around to ask. Looked to be in great shape and was probably a forced retirement due to age.
  16. Now retired. Pierce equipped Mack chassis.
  17. OD, you should have stopped by Lowe's and bought them a weed eater..... A few years ago! Could you put some stamps on the green R in the shed and mail it to me?
  18. I have a similar Garrison power assist on the B75. Mine seems to work at idle. I can't say that I have tried turning the steering wheel at idle while not moving the truck. That puts a lot of stress on the front end. Shuttling the truck in the yard at idle seems to be fairly effortless. Couple of ideas might be dirty fluid in the system which is overcome by more rpm, pump itself may be a little tired, a seal or o ring may be bypassing some fluid so you are not getting full pressure. I might start with a drain and fluid change. My system uses engine oil not power steering fluid.
  19. Could haul several rows of GEO Metro's on that rig.
  20. Know several folks that are looking for the same thing.
  21. Nice DC! I was up there 4 or so years ago and didn't see the DIVCO or the B. Must not have bought the deluxe ticket..... Too much money was left at the outlets!
  22. Don't think there was any connection between Steamtown in VT and Conway Scenic in NH. Maybe some cars were bought when Steamtown went to PA?
