  1. Bright and shiny on the show field. Born with an EN 707 gasoline motor.
  2. It has been a while since I looked at a C with a six cylinder but my recollection says there was a little bit of a tilt to the engine.
  3. No connection to the item. Would be handy to bring other projects home. https://www.ebay.com/itm/1958-Mack-b75-B-model-wrecker/323418788632?hash=item4b4d431318
  4. They are going to need some better mirror brackets.
  5. Born with a END 711 Thermodyne. Sort of looks like a turbo has been added behind the fender panel?
  6. Proudly getting dirty daily for 35 years.

  7. Here's to a Full Pull!
  8. I rebuilt the wheel cylinders on the DE with a hone and parts from NAPA. Didn't look special to me. Figured out the cylinder bore size and matched up with a repair kit for a Dodge or Ford. Haven't had any issues. If you get in a bind, I will look for the numbers that worked for me. White Post in VA and others offer a rebuild service and the bore can be done in stainless steel.
  9. Chain drive with a Waukesha gasoline engine under the hood.
  10. Seen some straight and some tractor. Possibly more tractors but not enough to say one way or another.
  11. In northern NE, more of an oddball than anything, I would say. Probably trucks with it got saved because it was so different.
  12. Powered by a 220 Cummins and running on a Page and Page equalizing beam spring suspension.
  13. There were a couple of binders there but my rechargeable camera batteries were having vapors and I wasn't able to get near as many pics as I had hoped.
  14. Ha! Yes, definitely manufactured before OSHA was introduced.
  15. Nice heavy hauler with an air lift. Would rather see a Lund sunvisor on the cab instead of the one stolen from a peterbilt.
  16. Some nice pieces there!
  17. Yes, it is a Continental F6 226 cid made under contract with Mack and will have the Mack script cast into the block side wall on the drivers side. The Mack EN 11 is a Continental F6 209 cid. The engine number is stamped on a machined pad in the block to the left of the oil fill and above the generator. EN 11 example.
  18. Congrats! The museum will help with the correct date. It "seems" that the 25 usually compares to the civilian DE chassis with 20" wheels and with a EN 12 226 cid engine. Really nice that all of the hard to find trim parts appear to be in place!
  19. For the 1963-1971 D500 models, the available engines were 225 cid 6 cylinder, 318 V8 and a 361 V8. 1961-62 D500 models had a 251 6 in the line up.
  20. Looking brand new on the show field. Originally produced in Warren, MI.
  21. Yup. I have been seeing more on the road. Possibly rigs migrating east after being kicked out of CA for emissions? Look at it this way, you are a COE trendsetter!
  22. The farmer's daughter may be more fun but a small rig with a crank live floor gets more work done. I wonder how many times the wood has been replaced or how many trucks this has been bolted down on?
  23. Believe it is still with the Michie family.
  24. Fine looking rig! Born at the Oakville plant with a CAT 3406 under the hood.
