  1. I don't recall this being a 409. This morning, my memory chip needs some WD-40 though.
  2. It was displayed at Yankee in 2016.
  3. It was the ATCA National Show in Macungie, PA this past June.
  4. Sharing the road with B model Macks.
  5. 2004 models have known issues. If you have $6K and like to gamble, go for it.
  6. Here is a diagram for the series parallel switch. Hopefully previous work on the truck hasn't messed up the wiring too badly. Note that one diagram is for a positive ground system and the other is for negative ground. https://www.bigmacktrucks.com/tutorials/article/70-wiring-schematic-for-series-parallel-switch/
  7. Pat's fabulous Mack FN at Macungie. Heavy hauler and you will never get caught for speeding. VIN stamped in the front left frame rail.
  8. Sorry, no pictures of either.
  9. Yikes! The use of wheel chocks would have been a good idea.
  10. Two tone blue is Atlas Van Lines colors.
  11. This one.
  12. Less common than a few years ago but are still out there.
  13. Finally had a chance to search and found the same pictures as Hobart posted. Certainly gives an interesting view of the rough and tumble world of contracting in days past.
  14. Mighty fine vacation cottage plus a spot for the family truckster.
  15. Thanks Mike. I didn't want to lift up her skirt hood without permission.
  16. Hello Ernie. Glad you stopped by to visit. I will do a search and see what shows up for pictures. Now or then, Pierce-Arrow Trucks are few and far between.
  17. This good looking California rig was on display at Macungie. There is a V8 emblem on the hood so it has had a swap of some sort. No one was around to ask any details.
  18. I looked through some misc. picture files and came up with nothing. Hopefully someone can help you out.
  19. It is irritating that Ford still uses some sort of foam between the outer skin and the wheel wells on their pickup truck bodies. There is a factory hole on the inside of the body near the top rail and I use it to squirt used hydraulic oil onto the foam. I would rather have the foam filled with oil than water. This may have changed with the use of aluminum. Haven't checked it out.
  20. Everyone has been bit by a flea market find at least once.
  21. Ahhh.... the old Bondo surprise! Appears that you are doing an excellent job bringing it back into shape.
  22. Don't recall it. In the states or CA? Why was it signed? First? Last? Certain number?
  23. Don't believe that they got involved with diesel engines at all. Well respected engine company which was gone by the early 60's.
