    Happy 4th to all!
  3. Welcome! No charge for browsing.
  4. Welcome Jake!
  5. Distinctive colors on this road dog based in NY.
  6. Looks Great!
  7. What are the Peterbilt specs that you are running?
  8. Power supplied from a Cummins HB-4 engine. It was on display at Macungie and of course, my camera "burped" when I took a picture. No picture for me. I swiped this picture from Jeff Lakaszcyck. Apparently, my camera was able to regroup for the picture of the worn out brake pedal on this road building warrior. Lot's of stop and go traffic in Brooklyn, NY.
  9. Victoria looks great! I think having the aux, trans will be a benefit for the type of work you are doing. The Maxidyne has a wide power band allowing the use of 5 or 6 spd transmissions but that was based more on normal road use and 80K gvw. Your work is not typical and is certainly above 80K. Being able to split a gear based on weight and grade adds flexibility.
  10. The ultimate anti theft pattern. The black shirt might as well be the white shirt to someone that can only drive an automatic.
  11. Few Marmon COE's still around. In the background, Yardo is making plans for the smoker.
  12. Two dogs, one picture. Nice Mackey!
  13. Welcome! Sounds like an interesting plan for the Dog.
  14. I'm 2 hrs to Brockton if the lights are with me. Unfortunately, this Monday is already upside down for me. Safe travels.
  15. This rig never strayed far from home. It is pictured in a vehicle dyno cell in the Mack Museum.
  16. 10-4 Sounds like a plan.
  17. Good looking tractor!
  18. What kind of work do you have for a single axle pup?
  19. For years Rolls-Royce would say the HP rating for their vehicles was "adequate". The HP rating on your Cobra must be "Adequate Plus"!
  20. Good/bad? Never had one. The info I recall was that it gave like 370 HP within a certain rpm range (low rpm) and 355 HP in higher rpm. I am not up on computers to say if it is programmable or not.
  21. Never worked on a CF. Use the BMT message system and contact member "joes mack" and ask him. Last I knew he had 4-5 Mack CF's in service.
  22. Plenty of heat under the hood!
  23. Here is a link which shows some pictures of a sock filter on a larger engine. https://www.bigmacktrucks.com/topic/27409-707-oil-filter-again/ On your LF, it is probably a NAPA 1503 filter which is about 4" X 8" tall
  24. Depending on what you find for a problem and how you plan on using the truck in the future, swapping to a newer setup would get a better gear ratio, etc.
  25. Currently "Maxidyne".
