  1. Mighty fine showing off!
  2. Or not
  3. Way of life these days on fleabay. Throw a big price out there and list it as "Make Offer" and see who contacts you to do a deal.
  4. The 4 VH was introduced in 1984. This 50 year Hagerstown brochure is interesting to read through. https://www.marketingstrategiesandsolutions.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/06/Volvo-Hagerstown-50th.pdf Jake Brake 675A is for the E6 2 VH plus others. 675A superseded the 675 kit. https://www.jacobsvehiclesystems.com/files/support/docs-pdfs/19044.pdf
  5. There are a bunch that advertise in Hemmings. A couple phone calls will probably get an answer for approx. cost. I had a small wheel done years ago by a shop in NC or SC. Came back great and stayed that way for many years. I noticed a crack one day and wanted to ask them about it and they were out of business. Life in the fast lane I suppose. Don't recall the price at the moment.
  6. I would think so and that is above my pay grade!
  7. Uugh. A vented oil pan makes for a real bad day.
  8. I purchased an Eastwood Wheel Kit to do a 22" wheel that didn't have too many problems or so I thought. Cleaned everything and the kit was straight forward and fairly easy to work with. It came out looking great. As time has gone by, a couple bubbles have appeared so something is growing inside. Well, must not have got all the rust cleaned up. Probably will leave it for a while because it still looks far better than what it was. Someday might send one out to be recast. Doing a recast at home would definitely be a LOT of sanding!
  9. You can try him here. https://www.facebook.com/howardtrk/ or (937) 878-3370
  10. Humongous vegetables are easy..... Getting a big enough knife to dice them up will be the trick!
  11. That was a pretty good drive in the country! Hope you got a couple thumbs up along the way.
  12. Baby talk interpretation "Higher, push HIGHER!"
  13. Mike always had some great stories and he sure did love Mack trucks!
  14. Nice Treasures!
  15. Looks like a Thermodyne script on the hood. It will be interesting to hear what the newer Mack motor is.
  16. Looks worthy of taking a drive in the country! If I lived on the left coast, I might already be there...
  17. That is an assembly number and you will probably have to ask the dealer. Timing cover or back of block isn't stamped?
  18. The pup is just working the system!
  19. The Mack looks to have good bones and sheet metal so you can make it into whatever you want.
  20. Thanks all for the show pictures!
  21. First B - model Second and third is the engine such as 42, 61, 75 etc. (diesel and gasoline) fourth and fifth chassis style T- tractor, ST - tandem tractor, P straight chassis single axle. SX extreme service tandem plus a bunch more. rest of the numbers would be the sequential build number. (numbers start at 1000) Example B42SX-1501 B model with a 401 flathead gasoline engine tandem extreme service and the 501 built B61ST-11234 B model with 673 diesel engine tandem tractor 10234 built https://www.bigmacktrucks.com/tutorials/article/206-b-model-engine-data/ https://www.bigmacktrucks.com/tutorials/article/208-b-model-production-info/
  22. It has been done. I have seen remote filter kits for sale at NAPA stores, Summit and Jeg's Speed Shops.
  23. Welcome! Looks like you have a project now. A B-61 is a diesel powered truck not gasoline. Does the VIN match between the door tag and the number on the right front frame rail? Seeing that it was a tandem rear suspension and also an extended front bumper, was it a cement mixer?
