  1. That would work! Fixed the picture for you. Should increase the chance of a sale....
  2. You will have to fire up the BIG weed wacker!
  3. Don't have too much fun at the show...
  4. As discussed before, what of the fuel tax paid at the pump? How will an appropriate road tax be determined for EV? Fair and equitable? I am confident with lobbyist and the government, that the consumer will not be a priority with increased infrastructure quality. Also, what are the long term cost (financial and safety) for recycling failed or damaged battery packs? What are the cost to replace a battery pack when the vehicle is out of warranty? I am intrigued by the torque capabilities of electric motors in transportation vehicles. Guess that is why I like trains.
  5. Maybe the picture you have already seen. The info you have heard is basically the same I have heard.
  6. Yup, that is a big boat. If your friend had bought the small boat, you could have used the Ranger for the move. Got a fine Erie cast skillet at a yard sale for a buck many years ago. Money well spent. You will have another skillet seasoned in no time. It will be better than dealing with a fuss.
  7. The info is stamped into the block.
  8. Ain't that the truth!
  9. They may have the gasket or you can check with Olson Gaskets. http://www.olsonsgaskets.com/ Possibility that Fel Pro may have a head gasket. Fel Pro has them for the smaller Continentals. A good quality, old school parts store or machine shop would be able to get you a Fel Pro gasket if it is available.
  10. Looks Good! I might be partial to having the directionals outboard instead of the brake lights.
  11. OK. A Mack EN-271 engine built by Continental (M6271). Monte's or CIP may be able to help with a piston. http://montesequipment.com/products/ http://www.continentalengineparts.net/
  12. Running late. Happy Birthday!
  13. Right, it was an option.
  14. M6 sounds like a Continental Engine. When looking at the left side of the engine, there should be a machined pad with numbers stamp near the front of the block just below the head. Check to see if you can get the numbers. Example: white circle in picture. There are M6253, M6271, M6290, M6330 engines.
  15. Public beach doesn't allow adult beverages. Good thing the cops didn't check the sippy cups...
  16. Nice! Take a couple weeks off and then you can have the R repainted by July 4th!
  17. That is the ratio that Vlad is dealing with on his trans. swap project. It seems pretty low but with .71 OD it gives a final ratio of 3.56. Approx. 70 mph @ 2000 rpm with 22.5 and 73 mph @ 2000 with 24.5 rubber.
  18. Thanks to all that serve.
  19. Thanks for posting your results.
  20. The ad phone number goes back Marley Building Supply on Meeker.
  21. The width is definitely different between the two. Getting creative with 2 R model gaskets may be the way to go. Might also check with a PAI dealer. They make various aftermarket Mack items.
