    That is a beautiful truck. It was a B70 right? Still gas powered? I was all over that, I had my head up in the cab and everything last year at Macungie.

    Driven 1 U model, 1 R model Rode in, 1 U model, 1 B61, and 2 R models. Ive sat in about every old Mack Ive seen, especially U models.

    Thanks guys, I dont know, we'll have to play with mounting that hood in the spring. I dont know about any shows next year.

    Thanks. I wasnt really into the single axle thing either, but we put it under my truck and I thought, hmph, that looks pretty good! I love offset cab trucks, U MODELS, DM;s are OK, but I LOVE U MODELS. I'll keep this truck until the day I die.

    Cool! Are you going to restore the truck? She looks good there, all them little things add up ya know? Keep up the good work and pictures! My U model doesnt have brakes either, the truck wont build air, so we didnt think it would move but it did. I think the compressors dead in mine.

    She'll be in till spring, if the weathers not to bad I can drive it up by the garage for Papa. Nothings going to be done on the hood because its not really on there and its not on there right so we gotta line it up. The barns kinda far away from the garage as you can see so we can take little things off to do maybe, not big stuff. The fenders will be one of the last things to go on because it doesnt really need them.

    HA, sounds like me. I rode in Doug Fetterlys R model when he went and pickup up a backhoe, but, I sat on a step latter in the middle behind them two sticks, while Doug was driving and Papa in the passenger seat.
