    Well, went to the local Mack place and got some new parts for the Sidewinder. Got Front cab mount bolts, with the rubbers, and a new windsheild washer motor. Paid a friggin arm and a leg for them, but you gotta do what ya gotta do. One guy gave Papa and I each a Mack hat too. He said "By the time you get done payin". And gave us the hats. Now its not too long before the cab goes on!!!

    This is prolly how we are putting my U cab on. We wont be using a tow truck though, we'll be using Papas 480 Case backhoe.

    I had a 5 gallon pale on my U model one time and I hopped in there and gave her a cold start. Foggin all over. Then I see Papa come runnin over hop on the passenger tank and throw a bucket off the stack. I thought to myself oops.

    Nope I looked her all over. Had my head under the cab, was in the cab, in by the passenger tire looking it all over. He pointed at the door and said you can see its age spots. He was a very honest, nice guy.

    At some point I WILL put a straight stack on top of my exaust instead of that bent thing. It will definetly have a flapper on there to make it a classic U model.
