    Went up to Doug Fetterlys to drop the golf cart off at the barn. He said to my Papa on the phone, Have Vinny go in there and on the left theres a bug deflector for a U model. Its been in there for 20 years, Ive been waitin to have Vinny have it. So we get there and I find this cooky looking thing, and we called him back and he said thats the one he made for his U model. He said on the phone to Papa, post a big picture on BigMackTrucks, and see if any of them guys have one of them! He said he made it special for his U model.

    OK, do you know what year the truck was maybe? I hope somebody gets your hood, hard to find good U model hoods. And Matt, that hood is toooooo good to do that too.

    Yep, poor Mike. I hope he gets better. Papa and I might be the ones driving that old green 361 to the Madrid show............We dont know yet for sure though.

    I looked at that truck and thought it was pretty cool. All I'd do is straighten the pipes out, then it would be road worthy!!!!

    Thank you guys! And Pawel, we have the floor pan that covers the big opening. I can get a picture of the underside of it for you. I still kept you in mind, when Papa gets his backhoe back from the shop, we will be picking the cab up for paint and I will get you a picture.

    While I was at home, Papa got the inside of the cab painted, and the passenger seat stuff. Papa and I got some of the "transmission" painted and some of the motor. And just to let you guys know, I didnt work in them weird shorts again. I had black shorts on today.

    Only good part (s) of my day. Saw a Granite in Adams NY. Saw a buncha Macks on the Thruway, only caught this CL or CH. Saw a sweet B model in Senaca Falls NY. My stepdad works for Villager Construction, and took us through Seneca Falls to see what road he was doing, he pulled in one of the yards where a couple Macks were just for me. He had to pee too. The blue Granite is one of my stepdads truckers trucks. They call it Hummer. Its got a Cummalong in it. Also saw a couple more R models, and a DM but could not catch them.

    I found another website, and found recalls on trucks, and for U models every recall was steering. Every single one was steering. Not flipping over.
