  1. Where do you get all this information? I thought the proto type thing came out in 64'. They started letting them to the public in 65'.
  2. Whatever you want to think uncle Rob. I know that it wasnt recabbed.
  3. Ummmmm..... I shouldnt be looking at this topic, should I?
  4. Here are the reasons my U model has the original cab: 1: The cab mounts are rusted so bad, so how could it be a NEW cab? 2: From the records of my truck Flexi Van Truck Rental orderd the truck green, which you can still see. They ordered it with a Bostrom west Coaster seat, which it still has and their name in the horn button, which is surprisingly still there. They also ordered it with a tandem rear end, which was there before we put the single rear in. 3. A good friend of mine Joe Plaska who worked for Flexi Van when my truck was there(he never drove it) told me that the U's eaither went to Shaefer Brewing or Kimberly Clark Bakeries. Kimberly Clark Bakeries painted the U models a two tone blue, which is obivious mine was. 4. The serial number door tag matches what the truck was ordered with and everything. The door tag also matches the number on the frame rail. Ha Ha. Your Nephew Vinny
  5. How about we make our selves a deal. Since Uncle Rob is our Uncle he should buy me that 56th U615 and he should buy you another B model!!!
  6. Fine then I'll prove to you its the factory cab.

  8. Daviegou is right. MACK is the best engine on my list. Maybe Detroit is second on my list.
  9. Yes uncle Rob, may you buy it for me and give it to me for Christmas? Ben, U's started in 65' and R's started in 66'. Please, dont let this truck have a ride on a boat.
  10. It was never recabbed, its paint matching, serial number matching, parts matching everything right now, except for the rears. When we are done it will have a new cab.
  11. Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha!!!!! Thats funny!!
  12. I'm pretty sure since its a U615 that it would of had a V8 out of the vactory. Somebody must have put a new motor in it cause it says its got a 237. I dont think ive seen a U model that early with a 237.
