from information ive gathered and things i realized that im pretty sure this is the first U model broucher. so im thinking this is the first U model. i also have proof its one of the first u models because they didnt make many u models with the mack badge on the hood instead of the letters. ive also been looking for one of them mack badges like the one on this u models hood...maybe looking to purchase one and believe me ive spent days researching my u model in the build sheets and researching other u models and other macks. ive spent days in my room, only going out of my room to go eat or go to the bathroom. actually use this link. go to the bottom of the page and there is some brouchers. go to the one that says U series. http://www.trucksplanet.com/catalog/model.php?id=329&PHPSESSID=12b9c0d07dd9c9be3b188c13b77aa05a

sorry if you thought i was posting i found the first u model but im not. does anyone know what happend to the first u model? does mack have it somewhere? or was it made into a Jay-Pan vehicle?

that reminds me of something... this was 2 years ago me and my papa had just bought a 1972 alouette 295 eliminator and a 1971 alouette XL. the xl had no motor and the eliminators is stuck. the xl was very rough so when we brought it up to the garage to strip it down we chained it to the bucket of the tractor and it looked like it was coming off a jump. i shoulda taken a picture. alouettes are snowmobiles if you guys didnt know.
