i dont know if hood scoops came from the factory with u models. they might of been a special order if you ordered a truck. any pictures of that u model your tryin to buy?

yes she was ordered by flexi van build date was july 16 1975. i think it was delivered in rhode island for some reason in october. im about 85 percent sure it was with kimberly clark and if it was it was two tone blue with them. you dont have to post all of them,, but if you want to you can the ones in 75 and 76 would be the ones prolly with my truck, but i dont think my truck is in any of them.

http://www.gerhartmachinery.com/antiques-classics/trucks/road-trucks/mack-u-md-tractor/ ive seen this u model for sale on gerharts website for a while now and its rough. it says the serial number is U615DY1305. i have never seen a serial number with 15DY especially with a u model. could this serial number be correct? and if so what does it mean? i know if 1305 is correct it would be the 305th u model made.

i was bored and went on google images and typed in "mack truck salvage yard". i went down the page and what do i see?.... a beautiful u model. so i clicked on it and it brought me here to BMT. the guy is wondering if he should get the u model or a transam. he said if he didnt buy it it was goona be crushed... ive seen that video and have been looking for it. i never would have thought it was you that took it. do you live close to that place or something? like i said if i knew the places exact address i would send them a letter asking about the truck. i would be wondering the year of the truck and the serial number to see if the serial number was close to my u model.

that f model was on here at big mack trucks for sale -
i found that green u model on google maps. if i got the exact address to them i would send them a letter. there is also other trucks around the u model too.
