Pulling out the T2070 from my 690s and swapping it for a RTO 12513 and changing my 5.73 rears to 4.64s. That later combo was in my cousins R modle with a 237 and seemed to work well. I figure with the extra power of my 300 it will be even beter. My question is what can I expect for a top speed? I have 22.5 rubber. The speedo in my cousins truck didn't work well but I know it wasn't going 90 mph topped out! Any other coments about this set up?

I haven't seen a lot of road masters but the ones i have seen were cracked or dry rotted at about 4 or 5 years old. When you change tires you can tell without looking witch are low grade and witch are quality rubber. -

Mike, one of our lease trailers- a 88 Walker tank has the same set up. Fruhauf propar axles with the inboard drums, first one I have seen. I was surprised too. We needed drums and a few wheel studs and got everything without any trouble. Not a bad set up, just hate to have to strip everything down to do a break job.
