  2. I'm gonna play spelling god here for a bit: It is spelled "advice", and "speak". You will be surprised how much "english" those girls will understand. It is very common in both countries.Uncle Rob
  3. Although Pauls' truck is very nice, I do not personally like the look of the massive front bumper. I don't like them on any truck. Can't beat the looks of the original and breast plate on a B series Mack.Uncle Rob
  4. Be careful on how you ask for a squeeze. "Lemme play with dat titty" is advised against.Uncle Rob
  5. That Pete bumper on a Mack is highly unrecommended. The grille shell is probably chrome plated carbon steel. Never seen one in stainless myself.Uncle Rob
  6. You will prolly like girls a whole lot by the time your senior prom comes around; if even only in magazines........ Uncle Rob
  7. I don't think Don would consider doing research for you a "waste" of his time. I'd wager he'd be happy and proud to do it. I just hope he doesn't get a pain in the neck from looking at all the drawings leaning his head to the left.Uncle Rob
  8. I'll let Mark give her first lick.Rob

  12. After loosing the "boys", I learned to think quietly, very, quietly.Rob
  13. I think you are living in a deep hole with very slick sides precluding climbing out, or providing clear forward thinking. Obama and his cronies have done nothing to restore, or enhance fiscal responsibility within this country. This relates and equates to greed on both the corporate, and private levels. Of course the current political establishment has thrown billions of dollars of borrowed money from a communist country into the economy, and is actively making attempt to destroy, or impact negatively, the very constitution of which the our country's government is established upon. Most of this will be dealt with by my great grandkids who are years in the future. I would think this could be looked at as treason, or betrayal given he is in the highest elected office of this country. If you look back at the mess Jimmy Carter left the country and economy in, and how many years it took the administration of one of the greatest presidents of modern times, (Ronald Reagan) and his policies to take hold, there is a powerful lesson to be learned. I'm afraid this administration has not only negated the gains we had forth, but recinded them negatively for many more years than Mr. Reagan was presented with. Remember one of the first things he did was to cut welfare to those that didn't need it, and curtail the abuses of the able bodied. I remember well that being a lightning rod and public aid recipients being pissed about losing benefits as they now had to find a job which were available. All of a sudden working at the "Golden Arch's" didn't seem so bad when the free money was cut off. While I'll not agree with everything any administration does, this one does not deserve another four years in office to abuse the powers vested in it. The country is weakened and cannot withstand these further abuses, and should not be tasked with doing so. The latest spat of enlisting the "Hollywood Elite" to raise campaign cash; Geezus, now there is some credibility and believability there. They are as believable as some of the characters they portray on film. It's all about greed. How many families, for how many months, do you think that sum of money raised in campaign contributions would feed, clothe, and provide shelter for? How about education programs for the functionally illiterate? How about a fleeting thought of paying down some of the national debt he fostered? Not a nickel of it will go there as most will be slated for advertising for re election. The balance with be squandered much the same as John Edwards did with his surpluses. Yeah, this president has the country's best interest at heart. Bullshit. Rob
  14. Ahhh, I see you favor a toolbox full of future busted knuckles. Don't put too much force upon them or you WILL find out what I'm talking about.Uncle Rob

  17. Yup. We are getting ready to drive a hundred miles to take my mother in law to breakfast. The "red headed battle axe" really likes that. Rob
  18. Thanks and I plan to look up everybody that can stand to the smell of me. Rob
  19. It is perfectly clear now. DOT doesn't like the color so they make you placard it "Oversize". I'm "down with it". Rob
  20. I've stored, or staged several trucks through the years to lessen freight aso. Should you purchase something it can be dropped here awaiting the next "backhaul" type affair to lessen transport cost(s) which can make or break a deal.,Rob
  21. Does "she" get offended if you haul her overweight ass on a "spread" axle trailer?Always wondered. Rob
  22. Digital film is cheap these days. Most folks on here don't mind grabbing photos and shipping them. I do it quite often for people asking.Rob
  23. You can do that but it will be cracking out and peeling in about a year. You are looking to encapsulate the exposed glass fibers. There are a couple of options here: Truck bed liner available at parts stores and commonly referred to as "Herculiner" but this is another temporary repair although it will last a couple of years. Sprayed on truck bed liner which will be permanent but is expensive. The aforementioned liner is not very flexible once applied and most seep hoppers do flex in operation when full. "RhinoLiner", "Line-X", "Ultimate Liner", "SpeedLiner", etc. are of a polyurethane nature and do flex somewhat. An industrial two part polyurethane based enamel available at a paint vendor. The reason the fiberglass resin will not work is the lack of application thickness. Anything less than 1/8" applied film thickness will not withstand the flexing these items endure. Another thing most don't understand is that fiberglass resin will not bond to itself without abrasion. Even then, adhesion is marginal. Originally the seed hoppers had a polyvinylcloride, (PVC) coating with a UV stabilizer sprayed onto them when new. Age has taken it's toll as these things are seldom kept out of sunlight when not being used. It breaks down the coating revealing the understructure as seen in the photo. Sweaty skin is a magnet for exposed glass fibers; hence the "itchies". A couple gallons of house paint would work also but won't hold up too long. Rob
