  1. About the only way is to assume the stamped numbers in the injection pump tag are correct and call, a pump shop, or research them for application. This is not accurate if the pump has been recalibrated, or converted.Rob
  2. Could be an original E6-350 block and set to what the notes state.Rob
  3. I fear the country will not withstand another term of this president, or his current political system. Rob
  4. As most of you know I work for the Federal Aviation Administration. What many of you may not know is how closely I work with the Transportation Safety Administration whom look after the safety of the flying public. As a reminder of the great and essential job these folks do and perform, I have decided to publish some data findings to offer for public reassurance. Keep in mind these findings are from January 2012: January 2012 Statistics On Airport Screening From The Department Of Homeland Security: Terrorists Discovered: 0 Transvestites: 133 Hernias: 1,485 Hemorrhoid Cases: 3,172 Enlarged Prostates: 8,249 Breast Implants: 59,350 Natural Blondes: 3 It was also discovered 535 congressional representatives had no balls. As a result, politicians have the lowest rate of testicular cancer in the world. Doing my part to ensure your safety with your flying experience. Rob
  5. I'd wager it was replaced due to being worn out. Not necessarily "beaten" or anything abusive although trucks do have a hard life. Engine rebuilds and swaps used to be very cost effective and one would be able to run the truck until "used up" with constant freshening, and maintenance. Now with age limitations, damned near 0% financing, compounded by electronics, emmisions, and their gremlins, trucks have become a throw away item also as too expensive to run many years till they are again, "used up".I think citing your truck remains intact, says it was not "beaten" to badly. Obviously it was maintained. A rebuilt, or reman engine is a very large plus especially to us cheap assed collectors including myself. Uncle Rob

  17. Hi Vlad, we see a lot of the same things over here with professional drivers, and then not so professional. I too have seen several broken differentials, transfer cases, gearsets etc. and it's just plain expensive to repair this type of damage. "Mud bogging" is very popular over here and several drivelines are broken or compromised in this so called "sport". The same thing happens a lot in car racing also. Noting wrong with any of that if the owner is willing to accept the risk and expense of broken parts.I can see from your post you and I have a lot of the same thoughts as far as a little common sense goes a long way. I don't "hammer" the throttle to use every bit of engine horsepower available when I start out, nor do I abuse a vehicle due to lack of respect. I would much rather get home without trouble than lessen my workday by 10 minutes and in the process save fuel, repair time, and expense doing so. Rob
  18. Cat gut is still used for suture material to put you back together after surgery. Rob
  19. I continue to build my vast knowledge base by reading the illiterate literature located in the grocery ailes at the checkouts. Truth in print and advertising is what carries me. Don't need no stinkin TV for education. Rob
  20. Obviously I am a pervert in the true sense. I thought it was about Caterpillar equipments, or an engines thread. Rob
  21. I never "sweated my balls off"; although that would have been a better alternative than what happened to me, (thanks "Momma"). Shit, at least I would have had something to be proud of. Rob
