  1. Looks like either a 630, or 730 series to me. My 530 looked like a close cousin to it. I'd like to have it. Rob
  2. I got a 500 ft. pound torque wrench you can borrow and somebody on here will teach you to make motor sounds with your lips while working the shifters in the driveway. Would that get you by this low spot? Rob
  3. I still ain't figgered out what is controversial, off topic or color? Maybe I'm just too stupid to figger out such things on my own. Can somebody please help me out? Rob
  4. Almost all the concrete pumps set on an MR chassis around this area also. The city of Peoria has a couple still in service as fire engines also. Rob
  5. Looks like a "Bull Dyke". Rob
  6. Very nice, both of them. It has been years since I've seen the Ramcharger like that. There was one in the St. Louis area I remember but I only seen it a couple of times. I had repaired a few of them when popular but they were all full doors with a very heavy fiberglass top. The only "E" body Chrysler I owned was a 70 "AAR" Barracuda. It was all original and I put a rt. 1/4, original Chrysler hood, (warped) and straightened the rt. door. I did grind the valves but that was about it and sold the car. If I still had balls I'd certainly be kicking them myself right now. The other Mopar I wish I'd kept in hindsight was a 70 Road Runner "Superbird". This car has a 440 "Super Commando" and four speed, (A833) but for some reason was not built with a Dana rear axle. It had the 8.75 Chrysler rear with a 3.91 gear. loved the car due to the tuxedo interior with the bench seat. Nice car but a real tank to negotiate traffic with given the nose hangover. Rob Rob
  7. There are a few around here with septic pumpers and septic tank setters. They work great in that application. I don't think they ride that good but I've never seen one on air ride; all spring, and heavy spec. Rob
  8. Iraq is still further garnering a larger bonus.Rob
  9. Up until a couple of years ago there was still running around here with a 302 between the rails. It was factory silver with brown and yellow stripe. The window was still intact but had the aging blue tint to it. Back in 1079, (I think) I put a front on one that had been backed into by a lifted 4X4 pickup. The receiver hitch played hell with the hood and windshield with the bumper hurting the "A" pillars and fenders. I kinda liked those but the only wagon I had was a real gem as it was a "Squire". That 2300 automatic was not the most reliable due to the 2300 series Holley two barrel that liked to puke gasoline outside the throttle body. Didn't matter how many times, or who rebuilt it, it was gonna leak.Rob
  10. There are several variants of the base engine. An older one can be machined and modified to accept some of the later style parts but this is not totally reliable as far as a supply.Rob
  11. I'd still send it in for correct calibration. Seat of the pants is not the best thing with diesels. Rob
  12. Much better to ask and less expensive than tearing down. Welcome to the site. Rob
  13. Hi there, I need a air schematic for connecting up a T2090. The valve on top of this trans is unmarked as far as ports and completely different than the former T2100 series valve. Can anybody make me a copy? Thanks, Rob
  14. That is close to what mine run without issues. Rob
  15. A guy like my uncle "Chester"? Should have seen what that man could do with a holiday turkey!!! I sure as hell wasn't eatin it afterward!!!!! Rob
  16. Better than a monsignor would tell an eight year old these days. Rob
  17. As you should have. Rob
  18. Here I didn't want to say heat seeking moisture missle dipped in goo. Or something like that. Rob
  19. Well son of a bitch. Welcome to adulthood from your surrogate ole uncle Rob. My new nephew "Vinny" said "Shit" in front of god and everybody. Welcome to the family son. Rob
  20. Same way around here with John Deere, and IH tractors. 25 years ago an old tractor was worth it's weight across the scales. Today a "plain Jane" IH "H" will brind $2500 not running. Rob
  21. Hoyte Axton was the announcer. I learnt really quick I couldn't tolerate alcoholic beverages on that stuff. Rob
  22. I have had no less than four Pinto's!! And yes, they did what they were supposed to do which at times was a place to sleep with the girlfriend, (now my wife of 34 years) so they are not all bad. Now blowing, we'll leave that private. Rob
  23. Looks really good. Amazing what a little "elbow grease" can produce sometimes. Rob
  24. There used to be a bracing assembly offered consisting of a collar and three arms attaching to the mid section of the riser tube. There is quite a bit of wind blast resistance against that tube at hiway speed and the support is needed. Rob
  25. Remember as you heard it here first: A stiff dick has no conscience. I'll bet you learn that pretty quick coming into your teenage years. Rob
