  1. "Momma" used to get so pissed at me when I called them Banana Rammers cause they couldn't afford dildos. With videos like that, it's not hard to see why. Rob Rob
  2. That V8 sounds good I'll admit and I do agree you need to run the overhead as it appears to sound a little loose. This one sounds like home and is close to my favorite: Rob
  3. A fitting monument for the current administration. Rob

  6. Boy, that video sure helped their carreer. Rob
  7. Hi Grant, glad to see you post again with us. I have to start my reply but before thanking you for your advice I must correct you as to the "proper" driver's side as we both know it is on the left as you sit in the driver's seat. Now with that correction in place: It is supposed to be nice tomorrow and I will check into what you mention. You ever gonna get back up to the Naperville area? Thanks, Rob
  8. I'm thinking I have a bad transfer pump again on the R795. This thing runs very well but at times while idling, it just shuts off. The primary fuel filter is full, the secondary is dry, or very low. If the secondary filter is filled the truck starts and stumbles till fuel delivery stabilizes then runs well again. All the rubber fuel lines are new as are the filters. Usually this truck starts right up and is smooth running and ready to go. Tonight after filling the secondary filter for the second time due to engine starve out, I noticed after starting the engine no return fuel flow to the tank. After the engine was running about 30 seconds, I noticed the return start and run full stream about 20 seconds then stop again. About a minute later, the engine starved out again. This is at idle speed with me standing beside the truck. Once again I filled the secondary filter, started the engine and after a couple minutes, it smoothed out again, and this is where I'm at now. While I had it running I removed the return line to tank and no fuel flow there. I then held the rpm at 1500 for about 15 seconds and it never did flow any fuel. I'm thinking the transfer pump hasn't enough suction to pull the full all the way from the tank without great effort. I'm wanting to get this pump and nozzles into the fuel shop anyway for recalibration to get away from the "Maxidyne" tuning. I am going to install the Mack 10 speed into this truck. Any thoughts or ideas? Rob
  9. Because Mr. T is a fag.I pity the fool. Rob
  10. The clock struck two.........Rob
  11. I can't imagine they would have a problem with it. How bout we start posting some of our favorite comedians' lines? I was particularly fond of both Richard Pryor, and Andrew "Dice" Clay.Rob
  12. Man what a can of worms this thread has opened up. "Momma" was reading over my shoulder and seen the word "Barracuda". Now I'm in a whole heap o' trouble. Prolly gonna have to do something with it now and I ain't got the time. Rob
  13. Hey Ernie, would you be interested in a pair of V-12 emblems modeled from the original V-8 emblems Mack used on their trucks? I'm working with a guys dad I went to high school with and gonna try to make this happen. Rob
  14. I'm about as "die hard" Chrysler as am Mack. I've started digging in the garage to roll the Barracuda into the sun It hasn't moved from it's present state in at least eight years so I'll spray it with the hose to see what color it still is!! Rob
  15. You are on the right track. Before pulling the heads drop the oil pan and pressurize the cooling system to about 15psi with air. Look up at the liners and see if coolant is being forced past the sealing rings. If not, go with the cylinder heads and gaskets. Rob
  16. You are a better man than I. Of couse I can't let "Momma" win in the contest of whom can develop the strongest "funk" over time till the itch is no longer bearable. So far she can't top me and I am the reining champion. Rob
  17. PG Adams will make them also. Rob
  18. Springs are overrated. Weld em up. Rob
  19. Usually in the summertime I can stretch out the shower interval to about every third weekend. I'm pretty versed in the SSS routines that get you out the door quickly. If I drive one of my RL's I'll prolly drag the ole Jeep behind so I have wheels to visit other places too. I'm really accustomed to sleeping in the back of that cause it's so much more comfy than the doghouse that "Momma" has banished me to in the wintertime. Rob
  20. We really don't get to accumulate anything for that. Kind of a conflict of interest they say. Don't travel much distance any longer except to refresher courses and usually drive then. Rob
  21. I should be at Macungie this year and will sleep in, or under my truck. Too many good people/participants to meet on this board to not go. Rob
  22. As Glenn stated almost anything these days will work well. I run Chevron Delo 15W-40 diesel oil in my four stroke diesels, and Chevron straight 30W oil in the Detroit 71 series, "two stroke" engines. Rob
  23. Great to hear. I don't have any B70 series trucks but always liked the larger front ends and you had enough radiator for 300 horsepower if you weren't on the floorboard all the time. rob
  24. I'll get it out from all the boxes and garbage piled on top. Need to straighten up anyways. I pulled the engine in July of 96, had all the machine work and engine work done, then never put it back together. Isn't really much to look at anymore; just a rusting hulk but still means something to us. Kids have given up on begging for that car. "Momma" won't even entertain the idea of letting either one of them have it. "Hers" she says. Rob
  25. Mine was a 68 Barracuda fastback Formula "S" car. 340 four speed. Prolly conceived my son in the back at the drive in movie theater. Don't have any original photos of when I got it as they were lost in the basement flood with so many others. I still see that car from time to time. Like everytime I look in the garage as I never sold it. Rob
