Anybody interested in a manual two stick TRXL-1071? I'm going to be pulling one out of my truck shortly to replace with a T2100 ten speed. Nothing wrong with the trans but I don't need the LL range for anything and wanting the overdrive. Rob

I've never had to split one. The 3/16" side plates will deflect enough to drive it into place. Then drill through the frame rails, and side plates to bolt everything up tightly.Rob

Make it from a 2X4 1/4 wall tube and 3/16ths side plates if you don't find one. Rob

Front wheel? If so I replaced all the wedges on my B67 and still have the originals. I always do this when rebuilding a truck. Send me your address. Rob

Your is the second Hastings, or Baldwin branded filter that I've heard of comming apart at the crimp seam. Last month on of my filters on a truck was found to be the source of this truck starving out for fuel. I've not had a single problem since. Rob -

Anybody know the main differences between the orginal "Maxitorque" series transmissions and the T2000 series? All I really know is they are both triple countershaft types and operate mainly the same way. Rob

I know 2&92 truck parts has one in Silvis, IL. I got one there a couple weeks ago. If you purchase from them tell them you need R model mounts. I have CH mounts and would trade them. Rob

You would only do that once around my place. Don't think the thought of any third party intervention would ever cross your mind a second time. Of course what I would do would be based solely on love, affection, compassion, and great interest in your developing future. On top of that I'd make a few bucks at the pawn shop on your "U" model.
