  1. You will need more information than that. Which side is the blower on, what side is the exhaust on, Inline engine? For a test jig only I'd plumb in an electic pump it it were me.Rob

Somebody shit in your Cheerios this morning? It's actually a cute video of a dog that has been trained to not take a treat from it's owner when the name "Barak Obama" is mentioned. It could have been any name or mention of any character, but Mr. Obama is the sitting president and is therefore "fair game" for any ridicule available. Thanks to the internet, this ridicule is available most everwhere. Vinny, 50 years from now when most of the older generation including myself have passed, you will come to realize the importance of some of the arguments put forth against this president when you, your kids, and your future grandkids are still paying for the national debt this president has forced the country to endure and absorb. Simple mathematics says you cannot continue to spend more than you take in and remain solvent. I'm neither Republican, nor Democrat, but do know right from wrong and I'll have a little fun along the way to my grave. If someone doesn't like political natured posts, or value their constitutional rights, AHTS is looking for new memebers. Won't be me however at their current stance. Rob
  4. We have a lot of them exploded around here in the spring and fall seasons. They run wide open down the road both loaded and empty. Rob
  5. When loaded you don't want to go over 45mph with those tires. I've seen and repaired the aftermath. Rob
  6. Yes, fishing, and wheel weights are now steel and no longer lead. As of the first of this year it is a $1000.00 fine for installing lead weights when balancing tires. I assumed you couldn't use lead bullets or shell shot any longer as the gunshot victim may suffer from lead poisoning? This bullshit needs to stop starting with the next general election. Rob
  7. Any fuel injection shop will be able to get the seal, or a good bearing supply house can do the same by measurements. Don't be afraid to submerge the governor housing in fuel as everything in there is submerged in engine oil as the engine is running. I'm assuming you have the rear governor off of the pump? It just bolts on if you do have it off already. Rob
  8. Local Guy on this board is selling it. It appears nice.Rob
  9. Gotta be related to me somehow. Rob
  10. I have had a couple act like you explain. the seal shown as number 55 in the exploded diagram has probably allowed moisture to creep onto the shaft binding against the aluminum housing. You can take a propane torch and heat the aluminum housing around the shaft till warm, then spray either water, or electronic circuit cooler onto the steel shaft to free it up. You can also submerge the whole governor assembly in fuel and slightly work the shaft back and forth while applying pressure to extract it from the housing. Use crocus cloth to clean and polish both the shaft, and the bore before putting it back together with a new seal. Rob
  11. Yup, David saved for me a radiator with the upper and lower tanks I needed to have a new radiator built for my "Project R-12". It now has a new five row installed using these tanks. Rob
  12. There would have to be some if ever so slight. New trucks do it also due to production type alignments. Rob
  13. Yep, Trent fixxed me up with a good radiator core to be used in my brown RL797LST from a good contact of his. Certainly appreciate the help with this one. Rob
  14. Yes, and of all the things I've lost, I miss my BALLS!!!, Without a doubt, I miss my balls the most.Rob

  20. FREE USB DRIVE FROM IRS: Congress has instructed the Internal Revenue Service to send each taxpayer a tax assist package. It's a Complimentary Tax Software and Custom Backup USB Drive from the IRS. Apparently you just plug in this USB drive and it automatically uploads and installs the IRS software to complete your taxes! The USB drive is yours to keep as a reminder of you having filed your income tax with IRS for another year! Just their way of saying "Thank you" to the Tax Payers, (I suppose)! The attachment shows how it works.............. Rob Tax_Drive.wmv
  21. There I was - sitting at the bar staring at my drink - when a large, trouble-making biker steps up next to me, grabs my drink and gulps it down in one swig. "Well, whatcha' gonna do about it?" he says, menacingly, as I burst into tears. "Come on, man," the biker says, "I didn't think you'd CRY. I can't stand to see a man crying." "This is the worst day of my life," I say. "I'm a complete failure. I was late to a meeting and my boss fired me. When I went to the parking lot, I found my car had been stolen and I don't have any insurance. I left my wallet in the cab I took home. I found my wife with another man... and then my dog bit me." "So I came to this bar to work up the courage to put an end to it all. I buy a drink, I drop a capsule in and sit here watching the poison dissolve - and then you show up and drink the whole damn thing! But hell, enough about me... how are you doing?"
  22. In the mud specially.Rob
  23. Seems like he converted to negative ground with an alternator. Rob
  24. Sounds like an affair of the heart. Rob
  25. Hi James, I did know what you are speaking of. I've just not found anything in the short time I've been looking. The "900" series axle was common and I will do as you suggest as I'd like to have the outboard drums. The other two trucks I've done the brakes on use Rockwell "P" series shoes, but if possible, I'd like to go a little newer style. I don't think this will be hard to convert at all once parts are located. I need to take a junkyard tour next weekend but don't want to start purchasing anything until actually knowing what axle series is under the truck. Got anymore done on the RS? Thanks, Rob
