  1. Can't believe I forgot to mention the air dryer cartridge. I would also get a rebuild kit for the discharge valve while it is apart, and check the heater for the air dryer if equipt with such. Rob
  2. Always trying to help a guy out ya know. Rob
  3. No but I have the invoice at the shop. I'll look tomorrow morning. Rob
  4. You probably have residual oil in the plumbing from the compressor passing oil. This will take a while to work out by itself. I like to take the compressor discharge line loose and every place else easy to get to and then using a compressed air engine washing gun with a suction hose in a pail of alcohol, blow the lines clean. When finished, allow the alcohol to dry for about an hour before reconnecting the fittings. The inject alcohol into the system when it is running to pass any effluent into the air tanks to drain out. It will take a while to get all the oil out depending on how much was there but it will eventually clean up. Rob
  5. Being cognizant you are a busy man, I'm going the distance to lessen your load. Quite casual of me ehh? Rob

  8. I just bought new Gabriel shocks from Fleetpride for about 68.00 each. Rob
  9. I'd take you up on that. I could then drive my new truck, (formerly yours) home and wouldn't have a freight charge, AND you wouldn't need to worry bout no vibration any longer. That is of course if I can beat other dog there with the mixer. Sounds like a plan ehh?? Certainly appreciate the help loading at Lititz. Rob
  10. Cleanliness. I can't stress that enough. Rob
  11. When it breaks the frame rails just behind the cab, (about four inches) he will also think it's a toy. Fishplate it now before use. Rob
  12. My deceased father in law worked for Sears for 30 years selling lawn and garden, and tools. He retired in 1986 after they kept fucking with his compensation because he made more than most district managers, but would not take one of those positions. Anyway, he used to bring home all their current catalogs that really weighted down a 3/4 ton Chevy truck almost to the wheel wells every year. We distributed these to "his" customer's homes free of charge, and he constantly had higher sales numbers than anybody in the store!! We did this for years! In those days you could "credit" your salesperson in the order and there were compensation bonuses paid to store sales personel. Man has Sears slipped. They are no more than a less than stellar retailer anymore. You used to walk in, a knowlegable salesperson helped you with a quality product. No more. We dumped our stock in the corporation before they nosedived as it was not difficult to see the future at that time. Rob
  13. Uhhhh, I didn't think David was that kinda guy.........lol. Rob

  21. Mine is brown and white with either a 3.0, or 3.5 horse Briggs & Stratton engine. I know it is from the late 1960's to early 1970's. Rob
  22. Those "lugger" type trucks sure are handy. I'd like to have another but just no need. Be really heavy spec for any other use unless converted to a dump. Rob
  23. Prolly be driving one of mine "east" for the upcomming shows later in the year. Rob
  24. Keep me posted on this one. David set me up with a nice single exhaust recess small bunk but I'd also like to have a dual recess unit in the small size for another truck. Rob
  25. May sound rediculous but after watching those videos last evening I actually got up from the computer and went out to the shop to start both V8 R700's "just to listen". "Momma" says I'm sick. Rob
