I goes through all the trouble to ensure almost everything is right on my 13 speed install and even decide since the trans is new to use the expensive synthetic lube. After dumping in about 30 pints, (has a PTO installed) through the top cover while watching the fill plug opening in the side, the level reaches the threads. Stopping the flow of oil, and removing the dispenser, I grab a creeper and slide under the truck to reinstall the fill plug. Once under the truck what do I spy, a mother$^*^%$ drip!!! WTF is this shit here I'm thinking??? The damned rt. side counter gear bearing cover is leaking through the gasket. Tightening up does no good so I'll have to remove the cover and replace the gasket. I rebuilt and resealed the PTO while it was off and it no longer leaks as does the power steering pump. I hate leaks!! Now that the driveline is back in and trans full of oil, I was gonna start the engine but after three full months of sitting, the batteries were flat. I've been running the interior lamp, and exterior lamps some without ever starting the engine. I placed the truck on two amp "maintainer" with the shop charger and will try tomorrow. I'll drain the trans also while it's still clean. Rob
