  1. Could be a B-65 cab. Many of those had the concave cab. However the concave back was available on most anything too. Thanks for the photos. Rob
  2. That only works on JCB equipment as shown in the picture. Rob
  3. Yup, them Craftsman things are the Peterbilt of hand tools. Suppose you got lucky this time to not be let down. Rob
  4. Yup. That is what upsets me the most. Rob
  5. As a reference a subcompact car runs an HVAC system in the 12,500-15,000 BTU range. You have to account for the solar loading on the system which is the bulk of the load, and you also have hot hydraulic lines penetrating the cab. 10MBTU unit will make you a more comfortable without a doubt, but it will not cycle, (most likely). The dehumidification of the ambient air will gain you the most comfort. It will stream condensate water constantly. From your sales literature how large in cubic feet is the operator cabin? This would tell me a lot as to proper sizing. Rob
  6. 10,000BTU is not quite large enough for the job given the amount of glass and engine heat to the passenger compartment. It will also use more fuel averaged out than an engine mounted setup. Rob

  8. It is temporarily out of work but that's alright; Obama's plan will fix it. Rob
  9. Rewards either fresh out of the shower, or fresh off the stove are great!! Rob
  10. Here are a few photo of the tank that will become my "hot tank". I'll get a burner built for it this next week and will be in shape for my own usage. The top cover when inverted make for a nice cover. I'll hinge this to the tank and using a crank and pulley system not have to touch it when hot. Rob
  11. couple more:
  12. I wouldn't have remembered the dogfight mural but I stared at it for quite some time when there. Never seen the F4F production line mural that I remember. Maybe it wasn't uncovered yet as they were working on the F7F mural at the time. If you had moderately gray hair in the EB station I would have talked to you. I remember there were two employees at that station and the pool was being serviced one trip. I think it was the second trip where I got to watch the welding. One thing I really remember is that 25000 ton hydraulic press!! That sucker was huge! Although I didn't get to see it press any parts it was something to look at. I also seen the wind tunnel but did not see it operate. Unbelievable the history and heritage of the "ironworks" that is allowed to pass into oblivion. At least there are books, films etc. to share. I understand Leroy Grumman was an aeronautical genius unafraid to try things to built a sturdy and robust product, quickly. I've read a bit on him and innovations he brought to aviation. I also admire Alexander Seversky for his contributions and the formation of Republic Aviation. Sorry to see such things gone. Rob
  13. No, I just use a little script file to find what I want on either ebay, or craigslist. Don't remember where I got the idea but it's modified from it's original format to my use. Rob
  14. I've never been around any of them. Always remember that Western Star was a "hand built" Canadian truck of good quality. I remember this series when new and the styling always kinda stuck with me. It is the same thing when I first seen the first Superliners in the 70's. Rob
  15. This could turn out to be quite interesting. Rob
  16. I've never really been much into trucks with rectangular headlamps, or anything not Mack really, but always kinda liked this series. Rob http://bend.craigslist.org/bfs/2484879129.html
  17. I'm game, why were you sitting in Burger King? The world wonders. Rob

Damned lucky. You smack a piston in that engine and it's not worth repairing most times. Rob
  19. And I thought you'd have us believe pulling levers on dozers and excavators was therapeutic as in keeps "uncle Art" away. Rob
  20. Still got good strong hands and limber elbows eh? Rob
  21. Another reply caught in an endless cycle. Rob
