  1. Just look at it this way: It could be a true testament to the strength of your relationship....... I'm sure she'd still hold you in high regards afterward. You may be constructing a very large "doghouse" as your new primary residence, but she would still love you! Rob
  2. Some people have less pride than even me.... If I brought that home, I'd need to take vocal lessons since "Momma" would have me singing Soprano! Rob
  3. Bring this home, make your wife happy! Just think how well you'll "fit in" at the truck shows! Rob http://kansascity.craigslist.org/cto/978358968.html
  4. I would assume so, but the chemical properties may promote irritation to sensitive materials. Rob I took a couple photos of the product that I use. This tube was about $6.00 last summer and it works very well on "O" rings, and brakes as it is marketed for. I noticed that it said "avoid prolonged skin contact", or something to that matter. That means if it is used for sex lube, 30 seconds to put it on, 45 seconds to do the nasty, 90 seconds to wash it off should not cause too much damage. Just don't use it where your eyes would be in close proximity as it is ane "eye iritant". I hope this clears up any confusion. Rob
  5. Answering your question: The next animal to enter the equation: The automated "Chicken Choker"; Guaranteed to fit all sizes, and marketed exclusively by the fine folks at the Uranus corporation. Invented by myself, and presently "patent pending". I'm gonna be another friggin Ron Popiel. Rob
  6. I've been told that a sonic welder works well also without added filler material. Just have to make sure things are clean for proper "edge wetting". Rob
  7. I don't know if it is prudent with the type oil cooler that you have but I always use silicone lubricant on all "O" rings when reassembling. You can buy lubricant sold for this purpose, but I purchase a tube marketed as brake caliper lube. It is much less expensive, and you get about 50 times as much product in the larger tube. Rob
  8. Naw, that is where I go for the "older" stuff that I need. We still have an "old school" NAPA store that uses real catalogs, (paper) and know how to use them! If it is in the NAPA inventory, they will find it; Sometimes even dead stock is located. Just last week a friend went in there wanting to purchase a water pump rebuild kit for a 1953 Studebaker Commander with a 289V8 engine. Believe it or not, the kit was on the shelf and many years old. They don't get rid of much unless it sells. Same family has owned and operated the store for 60 plus years. Rob
  9. I tend to not offer advice unless I have an answer that can be of use when it concerns someone's livelyhood. This is of a serious nature considering that truck produces an income for it's owner/operator. A leaking oil cooler is an issue that can rapidly escalate to catastropic proportions so I thought it should be left to experts with the newer engines. I've never even seen a 427 Mack engine, as it is much too new for me. Now that bitch at Red Lobster owes me a free dinner for sikking her damn crab on me!! Rob
  10. The flathead gas engines were Magnadyne. The overhead valve gas engines were Thermodyne. Battery power eliminated the need for string pulling action. Rob
  11. And the same to you!! By my own admission: I deserve all the coal. Rob
  12. I haven't filled the stein. It may be hard to believe, but I don't drink. Might alter my "star quality personality". It has been placed in the china cabinet for the conversations it is sure to inspire! Sure has given "Momma" a charge too. Haven't seen her vibrate like that when she laughs in a long time! As far as the coal; I feel like I'm being picked on again. Rob
  13. Last evening after getting home from work I discovered something from my secret Santa. The box even said it was from Santa, (so it has to be true). Got one of the best "chuckles" I've had in a long time. Thanks for thinking of me. Rob
  14. Good clear shot there Glenn. Isn't the pump the same as a standard B61, just the housing offset? Thanks, Rob
  15. Hulk, one must keep in mind that only the owner of a truck or piece of equipment has to be pleased with it's service or upkeep as they see fit. You have no right to criticize or condemn anyone, or anything that does not belong to you. We do not invite that type of participation on this board. Positive comments, or a relay of problems and how to avoid them, are most welcome, (of course) as are restoration/upkeep tips. You are most welcome to this board and are welcome to participate, but do not post insults to other persons equipment. I know from past experience that I speak for the vast majority of the participants here. Personally, I think a Mack Quantum is as attractive as siamese twins conjoined at the ears with red hair, but that is my opinion and does not relate to anyones personal property. Auschris has been a valued contributor to this site for quite some time. I hope you will be also!! By the way, Welcome. Rob
  16. A buddy of mine will loan you Ranique dressed in her french maid suit. She comes with her own refillable douche bottle, and premix cleansing solution. If you ask really nice, a new set of batteries will be provided to power her lips. You should be set. Rob
  17. I'm too slow to follow this thread. Rob
  18. I wasn't aware that we had strayed from the intended path of progression. I thought is was like "follow the leader". Rob
  19. The face has very little chrome that will shine. It is a travesty that an american company would be so greedy to install garbage like that from the factory. These were installed onto a 2007 Pete by the selling dealer, that was purchased new last year new. Rob
  20. Family visits are good. Sometimes even better when they all leave! Glad you enjoyed your special day! Rob
  21. I had thought you were being facetious upon asking "what it was". Rob
  22. Scoot up the poop chute?? Even I don't venture there. Rob
  23. I just don't know how I put up with you guys...... Rob
  24. No, not my truck. It was one that came to the shop for fixxing a scratch on the cowl and he had a new set of caps for the front and rear axles. Absolutely amazed when we pulled them off of the axles. Rob
  25. I replaced a lot of bumpers on F series trucks from 1997 to 2002 model years due to the faces rusting. Very low quality on the OEM level. Rob
