  1. Wet crotch from spilled drink eh? It's your story. Rob

    B'day boy:

You are a much smarter individual that I. Don't think a "Louisville Slugger" would make an impression based upon my prior performance. Rob
  3. I still see TMC units with super singles running around here but have seen duals also. I can see the underside deflectors but those rear extenders are asking for trouble to both loading docks, and trailers. Rob
  4. They were talking about the first thing that popped up. Rob

    B'day boy:

    I misinterpreted the warning signs.Rob
  6. Some of my junk laying around the shop.
  7. That is about what I'd have put it at also. I've never pulled a mechanical myself but have borrowed a couple of Talberts and they are slick to operate. One had it's own stantion leg, the other I threw a board across the rear of the frame rails to support the neck. Both trailers were very easy to work with and presented no problems for someone with no experience, (me). I also liked that with a hydraulics you can raise the trailer for railroad track clearance where you may have a problem with a mechanical. Rob
  8. I got a good 170hp "Thermodyne" I'll trade you even up. Rob
  9. I understand mechanicals are great if you are not out of position and can remain level. Mechanicals, and hydraulics both have their advantages, and detractors.Hard to beat a non ground bearing hydraulic detach I'd think. How much weight do you save without the powered neck, and wet kit? I'd think a matter of convenience would be a major player also. Rob
  10. Here is a thread I started a couple of days ago with the same truck contained within. Rob
  11. I remember seeing Liquid Carbonic tankers when I was little on rt. 66 in both IL, and MO.Rob
  12. Right behind Rob you are!!Rob
  13. Yes but when the alignment bushings go out, the entry gets real "sloppy".Rob
  14. Yup, did you see the headlines yesterday? The state is letting go 660 employess of DCFS (Department of Children and Family Services, a.k.a. public aid) due to budget shortfalls and they need more money for prisons, incarcerations, etc. Yet, it is illegal to use prison labor for anything but menial tasks such as picking up garbage along the interstate highways.Appears the people that award the "free shit" out to many of those undeserving are beginning to run out of funding for "free shit" to give away so they are being sacrificed. They feed upon their own. Rob
  15. I'm thinking; "Holy Sheepshit" there Maynard, my B'day post didn't take yesterday so I guess this one comes belated. Hope it was a good one for you. Rob
  16. Woke up this morning, logged into my favorite site on the entire interweb, and was simply amazed at what I found. I immediately thought to my self, "Holy Shit" Slpwlker is having a B'day today! Well then have a good one and I'm off for the morning SSS. Rob
  17. I don't know Randy, sure looks like a recently converted single frame semi tractor with 38,000# rears and prolly a 12,000# steer. Should be fishplated at least. Little bit too light for dumping scraper bowls full of dirt into. Rob
  18. Look great in Africa eh? Rob
