Laa Dee Da. Well excuse me but my rosin supply has run low for the violin. Would a little cheese with that whine make you feel better? I'm certain we will see you next week. Rob

  3. Yup and there is a reason he wanted to be rid of the "U" model that he's not telling us about. Rob
  4. With the cab removed, a state of equalibrium has been acheived.
  5. Your surprise is yet to come. They like fresh paint before they do the deed.
  6. Like a thief in the night stealing tires, he left it on concrete blocks.I'd paint them black to match the frame.
  7. I had two of them and both were trouble free engines coupled to Allison five speed automatics in car hauler service. I rotated trucks through at 1/4 million mile intervals and these were good clean trades. Also had a 3126 but the first hint of electrical problems and it was traded off for a mid liner Mack.Rob
  8. Think Vin already got the kickstand mounts off of it.Rob
  9. Typically hard facing will get in excess of rockwell 53 and requires a grinding apparatus to machine. To hard even for cobalt tools.Rob
  10. Part of being young is being clumsy. You will grow into both those hands and feet in time. Along with growing into them comes the needed coordination to run them right. Breaking small parts as you mention is because you are rushing to quickly. Slow down, take your time and concentrate upon the task at hand. And don't ever give the fuck up till it's right.

Either way he has some serious growing to do.If he sticks with his ole uncle Rob, he'll have nothing to worry about. Rob
  14. If you know there is no problems other than a lost paper title, obtaining is not that difficult. A surety bond is required, ($100.00 cost nationwide) and the cost of the title. Takes about six weeks to get a new one in your name back if the prior owner signs off without problems, or is dead. Sometimes the latter option is easier JK. Rob
  15. Yeah that youngun needs some work. We gonna be workin on that "tunnel vision" thing he's experiencing.Rob
  16. I think she's really into him and would like him into her.Rob
  17. I don't think so. If she wanted only the hat, she would ask for it and nephew would give it to her. Naw, she has resorted to playful "foreplay" which is to be gained upon.Show her the back seat of an Imperial in the shop with a Detroit Diesel running in the background, (even on tape) and she's all your buddy boy. You'll be walking in a trance all the next day too. Uncle Rob
  18. Do young girls still like to "squeal"?Rob

Not me, no way, no lie. It's an older clean looking truck so I justified the purchase of a new camera by snapping it. Hopefully, and maybe, someone else might enjoy it.Fort's is a large tanker outfit in Morton, IL but I've never seen a truck that was not bright yellow. I suppose this is a lease truck? Don't really know. It's been sitting off in the side lot at the airport for several days, (probably broke down) but I don't know. Rob
  23. Wuddn't gettin out da twuk as I's sceert might catch sumpthin. These things are known to be contagious and carry all sorts of diseases....... Still in all a nice looking truck just a single step above a Pete. Yup, I'm still a "true blue" Mack fag. Rob
  24. Don't really see too many fine R models still working around here that are tractors. Still see a few dump trucks however. This one really is nice with an E6-350 and nine speed Fuller on 4.42 rears. It has 38,000# rears with heavier springs. Always kept inside I'm told by the driver. The driver wants to drive down with his kids to look at some of my junk......... The truck is hauling pilings from the airport in Peoria, IL after a soil remediation project is finishing. Seems the area was a fueling station for aircraft for many years and the ground was contaminated? Can't believe that........ Anyway, enjoy; Rob
