  1. If you have not already, you could also reach out to Erv Bickford’s restoration shop in Maine. Erv had every model of early B and probably a hundred unrestored early B’s sitting around at the time of his death. Most were sold to the late Daryl Gushee, but there were probably 20 or more at his shop when I was there a few years ago. They would probably have the answer and maybe the parts. Mike.
  2. That’s a great story. The truck was 55 years old now. A similar age truck now would be a 1964. It would have a lot more amenities. Mike
  3. The green B61 is on loan to AOW from the Mack Museum as are several most of the other Mack’s there. Mike.
  4. No. It needs one left front tire, one right front tire, one outside front right tire on the tandems, one ... it does only need one headlight bulb.
  5. Ron Smith (39 Baby Mack) Said it needs one of everything.
  6. Dennis Yaworski tracked me down and told me he had a Smith truck in his yard. An old Brockway. He said I could have it is I came for it. Granted it has partially melted into the ground, but the price is right. Mike.
  7. That is a neat truck. A have sent a couple waterpumps to Authur Gould rebuilder. They are worth a call. Mike
  8. This is the only picture I have. It was still there last month. I talked to the owner but don’t remember what he said.
  9. I was there six years ago. There were a bunch of trucks inside yet, but I know some of that has moved on. Several of the trucks trucks pictures were not there. That AB firetruck, the BX, the Green AC and i believe the Rusty F Model all were not there. I did not think Dennis was still acquiring trucks. Thanks for the pictures. Mike.
  10. Thanks for the info. That color looks good. I’ll see if I can find it. Mike.
  11. Do you have a name for it?
  12. I'm having an EN 540 rebuilt for my father's B66. Does anybody know the paint color or code for that? Thanks. Mike
  13. You are crazy Vlad. But it worked out and you got a neat toy. Have fun with it. Mike.
  14. My father drove a crackerbox when I was a kid and hated it. I’ve always wanted one though. I wish this one was closer.
  15. Yes. That is Steve Skurnowicz’s Truck. He bought it from, or from the estate of, Robert West. Steve is the VP of ATCA. He also is the editor of Double Clutch.
  16. I thought VALS327 above was Don Holden. Is it not? Mike.
  17. Here is the link to request information from the Mack Museum. Please remember to send them a donation. It is a nonprofit and not a division of Mack Trucks. Mike. https://www.macktruckshistoricalmuseum.org/contact-us/
  18. Great work Sarkis. It looks awesome. I was hoping for a video though. Mike.
  19. They used a lot of NOS parts on the restoration of this truck. They were not wasted. They did a fantastic job. Mike
  20. Sounds like a truck for MackDaddy. He’s on the right side of the world.
  21. Very neat truck. I have a ‘61 C80 with a 348 and air brakes so a much different truck, but with independent front suspension. Hopefully you never need king pins because we could only find one set and it was $1000. Hopefully my old ones hold up. I used mine today hauling dirt around the farm. Mike
  22. Please remember this is a site about trucks. Let’s keep the discussion about trucks and leave the political discussion for another page. Thanks. Mike.
  23. Get ahold of Kevin All at All Macks. He had L Model parts and might have what you need. Mike.
  24. Thanks. It could be in better hands, but it is mine for now. It needs someone with very deep pockets.
  25. Here is my Mack Magirus. There were only four B85F’s made with the L cab. There rest had some form of the B cab and the soft nose. The serial numbers were in with the other 600 some B85F’s. I’m told this is the only one that survives. Mike.
