  1. The slippery road switch disables the brakes on the front wheels. I would recommend it unless you are pulling a trailer. Have fun with it.

  7. I know a guy in PA who had 2 really rough Mack trailers. I bet they are still there. there was just one listed with a spare Mack trailer axle in Facebook. Bet I can’t find the link though.
  8. When I bought my F model from Tom Smith he replaced the front tires before we took It home. He wanted me to replace the rears, but I declined. They looked great even if they were old. Well two of them blew sitting in the garage. Now it has new rear tires. Mike.
  9. My father had a truck painted a couple of years ago and I offered to have it striped and letter. He declined. I asked a couple more times and finally he said it looks new without lettering. He was used to new trucks coming into the fleet all nice and clean. Then they were lettered and were just another truck in the fleet. Mike.

  14. P is for platform meaning straight truck. T is single axle tractor. ST is tandem tractor. X is for excavator, usually had heavier specs. SX- tandem…. F- fire chassis. These thing changed over the years, but apply to B models. Mike

  22. My 64 F715 had power steering. I don’t know anything about it but it sure is nice to have. I know that is of no help.
  23. The original poster has. It been on since 2021 so likely won’t see this. What do you need an F750 serial number for? I have a milk truck that might be an F750. I can check. It might be an F600.
