  1. I have some photos of Barletta B models in a junk yard in West Hazeto from around 2003. I should Try to find them. They were orange and black. A friend’s family has an off road park up there and had an orange and black N model water truck that must have come from Barletta. I don’t think I took a photo of that. Mike.
  2. I’ve only ever seen on FP. It is owned by Gary Mahan in NJ. He has at least one model of each early F model ever made. I saw it last week but did not take a photo. I’ll try to find an old photo. Whatever happens, don’t let it get cut up. Someone will want it. Mike
  3. Maybe I could get you to tune up a couple of my gas jobs???? You’re related to the Battery Boys, John and Matt Smagach? I tired to call John yesterday but no answer. mike
  4. He is my father. It’s his fault. I could have collected stamps.
  5. I had the wheel cylinders for the left side rebuilt, but I could never convince my father to put them on. It’s not like it’s the only project we have. I bought a B 85 tractor from the city of Reading, but two guys wanted to restore it so I traded them for one from Lowell Massachusetts. That’s another long-term project Mike.
  6. My parents bought a 1955 B85 tractor in 1997. It had pulled a ladder for Harrisburg then Camp Hill PA. It was great fun to ride around in but a very rough ride. It has hydraulic brakes. They went out about 15 years and it has never been fixed. You have a great advantage if yours has air brakes. I’m sure you can find a B85 with a canvas top to copy. My father’s had a top at one time because it has snaps on the back of the cab. It would be a lot of work to make it a 4 door. Might as well play with it the way it is. Mike
  7. I set an alarm to bid but set it for PM instead of AM. I didn’t need it anyway.
  8. My father has a 1941 Type 45 if you need photos of anything. His has the open cab. The drive train would be identical. I can’t imagine Mack ever made a Type 45 with air brakes.
  9. The B model was introduced in 1953 and the LTL was discontinued in 1956 so if you wanted the L cab after that you had to get it on a B chassis.
  10. Who bought it? Looked like a deal.
  11. I have used Arthur Gould. I’d recommend rebuilding. I tried to paste the site but was unsuccessful. Anything you’d buy might need rebuilt anyway.
  12. It looks great and your helper looks proud. Did you find your door panels or did you have extras?
  13. These are photos that were in an album in my Fleetstar. He cut The Fleetstar down to a single axle at some point.
  14. I’d drag it home if it weren’t 8 hours away.
  15. The dash plaques made me suspicious that this was one of Jimmy Wood’s trucks so I looked through all your photos which confirmed it. I always loved that truck. I bought one of Jimmy’s fleetstars earlier in the year. Have fun with it.
  16. Where is it?
  17. That’s beautiful. I have not seen it before.
  18. I called the local hydraulic shop and they don’t rebuild them. It was pumping the oil into the crank case. My father’s rollback was doing the same thing. He bought a new pump for $1000 but thought it would be cheaper to have it rebuilt.
  19. Hello man, does anyone have a recommendation for who could rebuild the power steering pump off of my 1985 MH 612? Thanks, Mike.
  20. Great photos. I don’t think we had any sunshine this week in PA. Definitely wasn’t any while I wasn’t working. Mike
  21. I’m sorry to hear you were affected by the flooding. Glad to hear your family is safe. I’ll look to see if I have L model door panels in the pile. I think I have a couple. You are welcome to them if we can get them to you. I don’t think I have headlights. I know it’s not top of your list right now but let us know what you’re looking for. Mike.
  22. I remember seeing these roadway trucks on the road in the 80’s. The had the hand truck in the front of the tractors too.
  23. Looks great. Ready for Mack Day?
  24. Where are the tires and what are you asking for them? I am in PA near Reading. I might need 12.00 24. I have to check. Thanks. Mike
