  1. If it was from a NY terminal it would have had a NY commercial plate and a TMT plate. I have been told they need both no matter what state they were from if they ran through NY but not sure if that is true.
  2. Thanks for the prices. The IH auction last month had similar condition trucks but much lower prices. I was sure that they would go for more if they were Macks and this proves it. Scrap must be low. This KB 8 sold for $55. I should have bid.
  3. I'll take it if it is still available. Don't want to call you at 10pm but maybe I will. I spoke with the guy you got it from but the trucks were already spoken for. Mike.
  4. If you get it and are thinking of fixing it I have a nice tandem chassis that I would sell for cheap. It has R mode rears in it though. Mike.
  5. Welcome to the forum, Sean. Congrats on the B61 purchase. I don't know if anyone mentioned but we like pictures. There are doors around. I have a couple but I am sure there are some closer to you. I probably have a starter too but would have to look. Good luck with it. Mike
  6. That truck is very similar to mine. Mine is a commercial A30 chassis with an American tank body. The truck is also from Ohio. I wish I could find a pump. If anyone has one please let me know. Mike
  7. I think it is a regular coupe cab and not a sedan cab. Mike
  8. Dan, Did you look into buying it? I called Kansas City to complain about the sale and they told me the asking price was $150,000. Even at a quarter of that it was out of my price range, yet alone double that. I do love the truck though. I'm glad it was going back to New England. Dennis Yaworski was pretty upset about it when I talked to him a couple months ago. Mike
  9. I know it is really getting off subject but I might have my KB 10 lettered up like this.
  10. I've never seen that done. I guess it wouldn't work on a 350 Chevy with aluminum pistons.
  11. Here are a couple more pictures from the auction. The junkers sold cheap I bought the cub low boy to mow my grass it is a big step up from my 1965 Cub Cadet 70. Mike
  12. Thank you gentlemen. It was a no truck day. We went to Seven Tubs near Wilkes Barre. It was neat. I'm going to this auction tomorrow to spend all my birthday money. All cornbinders. No Macks http://www.auctionzip.com/cgi-bin/auctionview.cgi?lid=2923633
  13. The truck looks a lot better from a distance than close up. It was a couple years between when I saw it last and when I bought it. I didnt know it was as rough as it is. It runs great and has done a lot of work for me since I bought it. It seems to be really good at pulling home Internationals. Thanks for all the compliments. Mike.
  14. Pretty neat stuff for. I wish it was on the east coast.
  15. The pictures on the bumper show it with a matching trailer. It's a really nice combination.
  16. The ATHS has the Wellington FJ for sale again. It was donated to ATHS to stay in New England by the Fox family who owned Wellington at the time of liquidation. The chapter who cared for it disbanded when ATHS took it away from them. The club lost a lot of members because of this truck. If you are a member of ATHS Please call the office and let them know that you do not want them to sell this truck. (816) 891- 9900. Right now we, as members, own this truck. This is the only way many of us will ever own an early F model. Of course, if you have $150,000, you can buy it for yourself, but most of us don't have that kind of money. Thank you, Michael Yarnall http://www.oldmacks.com/trucks.htm
  17. You are welcome to come see my trucks. We have about 50 trucks of various makes and conditions near Boyertown. That is 18 miles south of Macungie. PM me if you want to come. I will give you my address and number. The invitation is open to anyone else too. I will be at the show all day Friday and Saturday and shuttling trucks Thursday and Sunday. The Boyertown Museum of Historic Vehicles is also nice to tour. It takes about 2 hours to see everything. http://boyertownmuseum.org/. Mike.
  18. Nice score. How do you get so lucky? I can't find one.
  19. Great. It will be in a row of red, black and cream trucks that say Ralph G Smith Dependable Horse Transportation on them. The F model has a big aluminum horse shoe on the front of it. It is hard to miss. Look me up. Mike.
  20. I would like to get pictures of my LFT next to your LJT. Hopefully we can do that next weekend.
