  1. Is that a Philadelphia truck? That’s great. Where are you located? My 1950 Autocar C 90 tractor has 2 radiator caps just like that one. I have no idea why.
  2. Unfortunately you will likely have to have it recorded. Let’s see a photo of the whole truck? Thanks. mike
  3. I don’t know if Brocky gave you the best advice. The brockway guys are really nice until you start talking about Macks. Good luck in your search. Mike
  4. I’ve used this fuel pump on several trucks including a 1947 85LS. 5. You sure do make quick work of stuff. What is your next project? Another AB?
  6. I have a 405A firetruck based on the A40 chassis. It also has a 377. I agree with Steve. It’s probably not getting enough fuel. I had a new fuel tank made and put an electric fuel pump on mine and it runs great. Both the old tank and the old fuel pump leaked. I don’t have any manuals. Michael.
  7. I can’t believe you are still working on this truck. In the time you’ve been messing with it I’ve managed to take the transmission pan off my 68 Nova and set it on the roof, put my 53 Chevy pickup up in jack stands and pull the front wheels and replace half the spark plug wires on my wife’s pickup. At this rate you won’t make it to Macungie next year, yet alone this year. I’ll never get to see this truck. Mike
  8. There is a carnival company in Northeast PA that runs Mack’s in this livery. I’ve never seen this MH though. Sheldon Endy has a Cruiseliner that was theirs and brings it to Macungie
  9. I don’t have a diesel to sell you be let me know if you want to sell the 707. Thanks. Mike
  10. I’m sure a lot Of them survived. Dave Prichard in New Hampshire has one or two of her trucks and is trying to sell them. I don’t know the price though, or which trucks. I think Mack Daddy- Dan Thomas has one in Oregon. Mike
  11. It looks great. I have no idea on the sending unit. I’m no mechanic. Mike.
  12. Even though it is not the original trailer it would be reasonable to save it. I don’t know what it would cost move it, but it wouldn’t be cheap to have another one built.
  13. He also said they were not taking the trailer. It’s a shame but it would be a huge expense to get it back to Basking Ridge.
  14. Nice photo. Where are you located?
  15. Thanks I assume they are original. The engines is not. I think it was run low on oil and replaced.
  16. I have a 1979 GMC Sierra 7000 firetruck with a 427 and Allison automatic. It only has 22,000 miles on it. I got it really cheap because they only got one other bid and didn’t want to sell it to that guy. It’s in great condition but geared really slow.
  17. I have a junk B model cab that you could have the gutters if you too them off. They are outside of Pottstown. I have not looked at in some time. Maybe they at no good. mike
  18. Great work. No surprise that it has soma battle scars.
  19. The fire version of the twin turbo 864 supposedly has 350 horsepower, too.
  20. Thanks for the photos. Is the LJSWX a complete truck? If so, are you selling it whole?
  21. My 1972 CF719 came with a twin turbo 864 V8 and a 2 speed automatic Spicer. It was such a piece of junk the fire company considered junking it but then had the spicer replaced with an Allison. Mike
  22. I used the same electric fuel pump from Napa on a 707 too.
