  1. I'd take an aerialscope or a bucket truck for my farm. It is not in my budget right now. I am going to try to use my B85 from Chicago, but it would not be as handy as an aerialscope. Ken, you could buy me a bucket truck if they go cheap at the auction. Mike
  2. They look nice. Good idea with the lock. I haven't put the extinguisher on the AC because I don't want it to disappear.
  3. Are they still there? It's a neat picture.
  4. Where are you? Are you on vacation or did you move back to VT? It should be spring in New Zealand. Nice R by the way.
  5. Congratulations and welcome to the Detroit Diesel Owners Club. You say you're measuring the FWD for a Detroit?
  6. Found these on Ebay. They are too far away for me, but nothing is too far away for Vlad. Mike http://m.ebay.com/itm/3-1945-Mack-Military-Trucks-/151877359793?nav=SEARCH
  7. I predict very expensive fruits and vegetable. None of you will want the people who are coming in legally either. It is American citizens who are hiring the illegal immigrants and almost everyone one of us benefits from the cheap work that they do. Most illegal immigrants come here for work and not for crime. Most white Americans don't want to do the jobs that the illegal immigrants do no matter what the pay yet alone for the low wages they get. We are a country build on immigration. I know you will all say your family came here legally or you came here on the Mayflower. I'm sure the Native Americans would be happy to kick us all out and have the country to themselves. Also, you do realize that the Simpsons are satire? Mike
  8. That looks really neat. It would be a lot of work to put it back together, but maybe someone would do it. It would be a shame to take it apart but they can't all be saved. Mike
  9. Your welcome. I hope they have enough juice to start a leaf blower engine.
  10. You could take batteries out of one of my trucks but it would have to be 4 6 volts or 4 group 31's. I don't buy those big batteries. Mike
  11. What is that thing on the B75?
  12. This truck works every day for David Bryan.
  13. I stopped and looked at this truck quite a few years ago. There were two there but I couldn't find anyone to talk to the other disappeared a couple years ago. Mike
  14. Your be looks great and the new one is neat too. Looks like you need another ash tray though. Keep the pictures coming.
  15. Good work. I thought that truck was done.
  16. My Chicago layover went well. The train system was easy to navigate. A friend put me in contact with Jack Conners from the Fire Museum. He is a 39 year veteran of the fire department. He picked me up at the train station and took me to the museum. The had three trucks on display and a lot of memorabilia. Next he took me to their shop where they had 12 more trucks and a lot of equipment. A 1919 AC that was a originally a tractor for an aerial. And several off brands. Three more Foxes. Two more whites. Three more Fords. Which I couldn't post a picture of. Two of these ugly things and a Seagrave Mike
  17. Tim. I am close to your time zone. Was drinking with some kiwi's and some Aussies. Kmeitz. I might try to find ladder 10. Not into baseball but am into food. Mike
  18. So I'm flying home from vacation on Thursday and I have a layover in Chicago. Some how in my stupidity I bought the wrong ticket and have a 10 hour layover. I land at 8:25am and depart at 6:21pm. Is there anything to do that is not too much hassle? Are the buses or trains easy to navigate? I don't want to lose a whole day at Ohare. Thanks. Mike
  19. Welcome to he forum. I have friends who live in Turrialba. I have been there twice. I saw several B models when I was there and a superliner. I'll have to dig out the pictures and post them. Mike
  20. My F715 got re-cabbed in 1984 then was put back to work. It is not perfect but much better than it would be otherwise. You have a great truck Erick. I hope you find someone interested in it. Mike.
  21. 39minimack looks so old in that picture.
  22. Anybody know the serial number on either of these?
  23. We were there. Saw some good friends. Didn't see many of you guys. I was glad I went. I planned my vacation around Mack Day. I leave for Tokyo at 6am. I wore long johns and insulated boots. I was plenty warm. Mike.
  24. Neat trucks. Nice purchases. Certainly worth a couple thousand a piece.
  25. The R model and the B613 look neat. Which two did you buy? I'm sure you really did need them.
