  1. Unfortunately I am not in the market for a Crackerbox at the moment. I am spending all my money on a run-down farm. I only saw that green Crackerbox once 10 or more years ago on Rt 100 in Gilbersville PA, but when I mentioned it to my father he had he saw him all over. There also used to be a old-school green and white freightliner cabover that I would see frequently on 422 around Pottstown, but that was at least 7 years ago. Mike
  2. The B42 had a not so nice frame splice. The B71 wasn't a bad deal for a rare truck. I know I would not have sold my parts for what these brought. The fuel tanks brought maybe $150. That was the only fuel tanks. No air tanks. I didn't stay to see the Z28 sell.
  3. I think only a little over $100, maybe $130. A B61 hood with all the trim including two Thermodyne emblems sold for $130 or so. Part of it was we knew each other so people would hold back a lite if their buddy was bidding.
  4. Not much. Doors $50-80 each. Rough fenders only $20 or so. I bought the B75 cast radiator for $45 and only $5 or so for the shutters. Most of the parts weren't great though. I compete MH seat and another set of cushions went for $180. I could have used them but not at that price. The B71 had 11.00x24 rubber. Mike
  5. B42 w/673 $6100 B71 $8200 1949 Freuhauf $1800 1957 Freuhauf $3200 1979 Great Dane $2900 Snow Runners $700 each I didn't buy any of them. Mike.
  6. Nice work. I hope the other door is higher or your stack won't fit out. (Or is it just an illusion?)
  7. Neat truck. That is a pretty big claim 'rarest u.s. built truck'. There are a lot of trucks that there are only one or two left of the entire marque.
  8. I might go to this auction to see if the trailers sell cheap. Maybe buy some parts too. You can never have too many parts.
  9. I borrowed this picture with permission from Gene Herman. This was at a show in Mass in 2013. It was at Macungie a few years back. There was a picture in Double Clutch and a mention that they couldn't get the number off the radiator. Mike
  10. Not the best picture, but this is my 1950 LFT and 1947LS85. You can see he ridge on the top of he LS fender where the LFT is smooth. Disregard the dent in the LS fender. It was there when I got the truck. Mike
  11. The LS model above is a pre-1949. It has what Harvey Eckart calls "high crowned" fenders. 1949 and later have the fender with the large flat section on the side. Both of these styles are different from what is on the commercial L models. Thanks for the pictures. They are all really neat trucks. I like the LS and the B tiller the most. Mike
  12. Neat truck skeleton. I know where there are some Sterlings like that. Unfortunately not for sale. I'm still looking for AB parts if anyone has any. Mike
  13. No pre-registration. Everyone registers as they drive in. We'll be bringing a few Macks too. Depends how many drivers we have.
  14. The price is too high for me but I am really cheap. Maybe it is just what someone is looking for.
  15. If you pick "enter as guest" it should work. Joining ATCA isn't a bad idea though. The text is below. Posted on Friday, September 18, 2015 - 6:23 pm: trying to sell a nice old 1948 REO Speed Wagon truck was bought new in 1948, and garage kept since day one, was a friends fathers truck, when his father died in 1967, the truck was never used again and sat in the garage until July of this year when the garage was lost in an estate closing truck has just 28485 mile's on it, a clean title, Its NOW outside, as don't have room indoors any where for it all body parts are there, almost NO dents in body, front bumper has a some, has two extra NEW front tires, and an extra rear wheel, and NO idea why, an extra glove box door? I am asking $6000.00 for it its located in Deleno PA, 18220 I can email more pictures iof asked, but its a solid truck in great shape for its yrs, I DOUBT you will find an all original like it again in this condition!
  16. This truck is listed on the ATCA web site. It looks like a nice truck even though it is not a Mack. http://www.antiquetruckclub.org/discussion.html
  17. I don't think it will fit on the R rollback but I bet it will make a trip to Iowa.
  18. Try Paul Romano up in Mass. He is on here on occasion. He did not have any last I spoke to him, but maybe he does now. Mike
  19. I think you pick the edit post option and it will let you change it to sold. It is not hard, I just forget how.
  20. If there are extra wooden ladders I am interested. I'm cheap though. Mike
  21. http://www.bigmacktrucks.com/index.php?/gallery/image/14976-1959-b85fmagirus/ They made 4 B85's for Chicago that look like this.
  22. I don't know of any besides Gerhart's and he doesn't sell parts. He will sell whole trucks though. What are you looking for?
  23. It would be a shame to hot-rod it, but it's your truck. I paid $6000 for my 405A. It is the second of 68 made. It is a very nice truck. It did need brake work and a bell, but otherwise it was a nice original truck with original gold leaf. It will be hard to get $15000 out of yours. Good luck. Mike http://www.bigmacktrucks.com/index.php?/gallery/image/9717-1951-mack-405a-1002/
  24. Here is the cabover row. The guy with potato roll truck left early. The guy with the orange truck didn't even come but he got to have his truck parked inside out of the rain. I really liked this truck. It is a DM 866 if I remember correctly. I also likes this Superliner. Near mural on the wind deflector. Mike
