  1. I guess you won't have room to pick up a Crackerbox for me in Colorado then. Mike
  2. Damn cell phone Shipping. It's out west right?
  3. Looks like a good buy. What do you thinks shook would be on that? If you don't mind me asking...
  4. It looks great for the price. The bulldog shredding the paper has value alone. There is one on eBay now for $500. Overpriced but still. Good luck.
  5. Let's see the pictures. I missed them if you already posted them. Mike
  6. I guess that is what you call a Michigan Train. Great pictures. Thanks. Mike
  7. A member here had two Day Elders burn up when his garage got set ablaze by the welding company next door. One was bought new by his grandfather and was the first truck shown and to receive an award at the AACA Hershey show. Mike
  8. This is an International V8. So is this one. Maybe that's not what you mean though. Mike
  9. I don't think I'll ever get out of my building. I should have never put this pickup chassis there.
  10. I see. Sorry can't help you. Everybody is looking for them. Ask Barry if he can have some more made. Mike
  11. They have these. http://www.wattstruckcenter.com/store/index.php?route=product/product&path=59_67&product_id=59. It's the set. Don't know if they would separate them. Mike
  12. No offense, but I thought you were dumb to sell it in the first place. I don't know what your circumstances were and all that, but I would have never gotten rid of that truck. I saw a picture of it last week and wished I had bought it. If that was the case you would not have it back right now. Congratulations. Don't make the same mistake twice. Mike
  13. What can we say? You make us all feel like lazy slugs. At least someone is getting something done in this weather. I need a heated shop. Mike
  14. Don't bother calling about it. It was picked up a half hour before I called about it on Saturday. He said he priced it low to sell it quickly. He was successful. Is it headed to Iowa? Mike
  15. Do you know Watt's Mack provides this forum? It is nice to support them when they are selling something that you need. Often times they are the only place to get the part brand new. You might be able to find one on ebay or at a flea market, but time is money. Might as well order it from Watts and be done with it. Mike
  16. Keep it up. One question: you had said previously that you were waiting on the glass to paint the cab. Wouldn't it be better to paint the cab before you put the glass in? Then you wouldn't have to be as careful about masking. I wouldn't tackle a job like this so whatever you do is way better than me. Thanks for the pictures. Mike
  17. There weren't many made. Maybe only that one. I think Port Vue still owns it. Maybe not. I could be completely wrong about both things. Harvey Eckert said Mack priced the semi-open cab so very high on the R model to discourage fire companies from ordering it. It was pretty effective. Mike
  18. Your name is not Jim Williams. You can have it back if you want it.
  19. I know there has been some discussion of these trucks in the past. Tom Smith gave me this magazine several years ago when I got my MH. Hopefully this article was not posted before. Sorry they are out of order. Read 1 first. Enjoy. Mike Mack MH 4x4(1).pdf Mack MH 4x4(2).pdf Mack MH 4x4(3).pdf Mack MH 4x4(4).pdf
  20. I'll double your money and give you $2 for it. Maybe even through in 50 cents for picking it up.
  21. All our our B models have fixed shutters: B42, B422, B66, B70, B85F. These are all gas jobs. I can't speak for the diesels. We don't have any of them. My father took the shutters off his B66 and replaced them with a fixed grill. I like the shutters better. Mike.
  22. Agreed. Truck has no historical value without the body. Nobody would want it as a gas job. Unfortunately, just some good sheet metal to restore another truck. I have a single axle I would sell for a lot less. Mike
