  1. Dunn must have kept a bunch of their old stuff. There is an AC coal truck near me in PA that the guy wants $40,000. I think it was advertised on here before. It was definitely on Ebay and in the Wheels of time. I didn't know there was also an AB and CH. That is a great bunch of trucks. Mike
  2. Thanks for the info. Tom's Military Dodge is the same or similar model. He has several to the big ones. Mike
  3. Dave, Any idea what the WR brought or where it went? It looks like a pretty nice truck. I had a WR tow truck that I sold to a guy in Indiana. Mike
  4. I have a full set of shutters if you are interested. Mike
  5. I just had the recitifier rebuilt on my 405A. Mine was made by Leece Neville. It was done by Chestnut Hill Auto Electric near Lancaster PA. It cost $192. It was arcing out really bad when running. My truck won't run now, but that is probably a different problem. I don't know if that is what you have there though. You might have an internal rectifier on you alternator. Mike
  6. Nice going Carl. Now I am going to continue the hijacking. I am lucking to have a lot of great shows in my area. I am also lucky that my father has a tractor trailer that he can haul my junk on. But I am also happy just to have the stuff sitting in my garage. I do not need to show them. I get just as much enjoyment from walking around the garage as I do driving down the road and it doesn't cost me anything except the electric to turn on the lights. As for the hemi powered B model, I had not thought of the 237 being so much heavier than the hemi. I would still go with a Chevy V8. There was a local Dodge dealership that shut down a bunch of years ago. Their 2 mid-sixties dodge tow trucks sat around until 3 or 4 years ago when someone bought them, cut the hemis out and sent the rest for scrap. Mike
  7. I would put a chevy v8 in it and a GM transmission. It would be cheaper and easier to get parts for. I would not be inclined to put a diesel in it, but you were the 237 is a good choice. Good luck. Mike
  8. I'll be there with my family. I better call Terry and let him know. Mike
  9. Even I wouldn't mind having that U model. I would have wanted them to leave the lettering on it though. Mike
  10. I found an application for a Texaco credit card in a B42 dump truck. I forget what the guy was making annually, but he was asking for $25 credit limit. I will try to scan it an post it. I found a cool local bottle opener and a bunch of bingo chips in my 405A. Mike
  11. Time to join the ATCA and get the truck ready for Macungie. Only a month left. Mike
  12. Welcome to the forum. I saw your question posted. I don't know the answer. Sorry. I have a couple Mack fire trucks too. Good luck. Mike
  13. Your museum looks great. I wish I had visited it when I was in Fairbanks a few years ago. I'd like to see that Auburn boatail speedster up close. Mike
  14. I have two MH612's, an 85 and 93. Both are from Ralph G Smith Horse Transportation. Here is a link to my gallery. This is the 85. The 93 looks almost identicle. Mike http://www.bigmacktrucks.com/index.php?/gallery/image/9129-biking-snow-trucks-laths-january-2011-039jpg/
  15. Try Sparr in Florida.
  16. Get the one with the full dump bed. I have some B model parts outside of Philly. You can look at pictures in my gallery to see if I have what you need. http://www.bigmacktrucks.com/index.php?/gallery/image/9991-b42x-22872/ Mike
  17. Will you be bringing a heavy enough truck to bring the 707? Can you describe partially disassembled? Are the headlights available? Thanks, Mike
  18. I have had a very hard time finding parts for my Lanova. My mechanic bought a spare motor off of Roger Gerhart, but still need to have 8 valves made. He had to get a part for the air compressor made in Mexico. He has been working on the LFT on and off since November of 2010, but finally has it running. It should be at Macungie. I will post pictures of it after it makes its appearance there. I have an A20 parts truck, but it is a flat head gas and is very rusty. I did use some brake parts off of it for my 405A because the postal service lost the originals when I sent them to be rebuilt. Good Luck. Mike
  19. That flat head six has no power. Maybe I should put a Detroit in my A model. Mike
  20. You forgot me! Did our conversation at the Spring Melt mean nothing to you? I have not heard anything more about the Hamerly. It has an oil spreader in it (8V61). Mike
  21. That is going to be the best olive drab paint job ever done. Great work. Mike
  22. Thanks, Vinnie. I go out to the pole barn and roam around to cheer myself up if I have had a bad day. We took 19 trucks to Macungie last year and brought 20 home. I think we will take 15-20 this year. We will be taking several trucks for the first time. Macungie is my favorite weekend of the year. Mike
  23. Contact Ray, mhe9 for a price. He has hauled stuff for a lot of members and they have all been satisfied. Mike
  24. That is one good looking F model. Ron's brother Tom said it blew up its first V8 on its first trip to Baltimore. It went right back to Mack for a new one. It is at least on the third, maybe more. I have the last engine out of it as a parts engine. Here are a bunch of F models in near Huntington Pa in my gallery. http://www.bigmacktrucks.com/index.php?/gallery/image/9983-raystown-mack-f-models-043/ Mike
