  1. Gotta move that appointment up so you can drive it to Mack Day next week.
  2. The rockers and floors are rusted, but otherwise it is solid. There are places where there are bare metal. I might need to have it clear coated, but I will not have it painted. Can anyone recommend a good mechanic who would go over the entire car? Thanks. Michael
  3. The H613 is 1 of 3, just the only one left. I feel very lucky to own it. I am very proud to own all of them. My father has another MH of theirs and a Brockway 257. I am proud to preserve their history. Last month we went to New Hampshire and picked up a 1954 Chevy wagon that their salesman used in New York. It hasn’t run in 50 years though. It needs complete gone through. Also, I made two great friends in Tom and Ron Smith. Mike
  4. Now you really don’t have an excuse to not drive it to Mack Day.
  5. Mine’s a piece of junk compared to that one.
  6. He usually brings it to Macungie and Mack Day so you can look him up in a couple weeks if you get there. He drove my H613 to Macungie a few years ago and caught the H model bug. It is a neat truck. Mike
  7. Less than a month till Mack day. The paint on the hood will be dry by then. Maybe hold off on the rollback until after the show so that doesn’t keep you from bringing it.
  8. 39 baby Mack says the bulldogs on the flaps are supposed to face in!!! Looks great. Should be ready to drive to Lititz no matter which way they are facing. Mike.
  9. I’d try Cal Little in Hummelstown PA. Pine Hill Trailer Sales. He might have one or more. If you find one you can have more made. Mike
  10. I sold an EQSW a couple months ago. I bet that guy would sell it.
  11. Looking like it will be done for Mack Day. Keep plugging along.
  12. I got a $1000 quote for a core for a 53 Chevy pickup. I need to send my stuff where you get truck cores for $750.
  13. I believe I saw Ken in passing at Macungie this year. He was doing well last year at Mack Day. Mike
  14. My 1951 405A is 6 volt. Also positive ground. It should not matter if it is positive or negative ground. Just hook positive to positive and negative to negative to jump it. I don’t remember if we did a tune up in my 405A. We might have just cleaned everything up and ran it. I think we replaced the coils but if we did we just went to NAPA and asked for a 6 volt coil. They always ask what I am working on. I tell them but them tell them what parts I want. Let’s see a photo. Good luck. Mike
  15. I thought you quit on this project. I was going to come up with a trailer and have you push it on with a bulldozer to get it out of your way. Think of all the time you would have without it. But if you decide to keep going…I hope I get to see it sometime. The offer is still open if you do give up on it. Mike
  16. If you need photos of my LFT as guidance let know. It is pretty much stock. I’m glad for easy photos now. I forgot how to put stuff back together in minutes of taking it apart. Mike.
  17. I was hoping you had quit on it so I could get a deal on it. I’ve bought a couple people’s stalled projects. Now they are my stalled projects. Mike.
  18. How about the story on the Jeep? I am looking for a WWII jeep. My son is really into WWII right now.
  19. I’ve had the A30 for 11 or 12 years, but have done nothing with it. It is very clean. Just a little rust on the fenders at the bracket. A friend worked out of the overnite terminal in Stowe PA when they were bought out. I asked if he could get me a sign from a trailer but that was the best he could do. I have 2 overnight H63’s that are on the project list. Mike
  20. 1964 IH V200 open cab hooked to a 85’ pirsche aerial from Marion in Reading PA. It is hard to get a good phot they way it is stuffed in there. Mike
  21. Great. The water pump on my A30 firetruck needs rebuilt, but I am considering selling it rather than fixing it.
  22. Glad to hear you are taking care of a unique truck. Not many A20’s left. I send my water pumps to Arthur Gould Rebuilders. They do nice work and stand behind it. Mike
  23. Maybe I could apprentice with one of you guys. I wish I could do work like that. Mike.
  24. I AC is a fire truck and it has a switch in the dash for distributor, mag or both. The spark is in the left life of the steering wheel and I push it all the way up to start. My AB has only a mag but has been messed with and has a newer switch on the dash. The linkage for the spark and hand throttle are gone so I cannot adjust it. Mike
