  1. How about the story on the Jeep? I am looking for a WWII jeep. My son is really into WWII right now.
  2. I’ve had the A30 for 11 or 12 years, but have done nothing with it. It is very clean. Just a little rust on the fenders at the bracket. A friend worked out of the overnite terminal in Stowe PA when they were bought out. I asked if he could get me a sign from a trailer but that was the best he could do. I have 2 overnight H63’s that are on the project list. Mike
  3. 1964 IH V200 open cab hooked to a 85’ pirsche aerial from Marion in Reading PA. It is hard to get a good phot they way it is stuffed in there. Mike
  4. Great. The water pump on my A30 firetruck needs rebuilt, but I am considering selling it rather than fixing it.
  5. Glad to hear you are taking care of a unique truck. Not many A20’s left. I send my water pumps to Arthur Gould Rebuilders. They do nice work and stand behind it. Mike
  6. Maybe I could apprentice with one of you guys. I wish I could do work like that. Mike.
  7. I AC is a fire truck and it has a switch in the dash for distributor, mag or both. The spark is in the left life of the steering wheel and I push it all the way up to start. My AB has only a mag but has been messed with and has a newer switch on the dash. The linkage for the spark and hand throttle are gone so I cannot adjust it. Mike
  8. 422 has an over head value Thermodyne. I think an EN 460. Mike.
  9. While there were a lot of EQ’s made, not many remain. Thomas Warth’s book say 10,661 were built between 1937 and 1950. Considering production ended 72 years ago it is no wonder there are not many around. Welcome to the forum. Let’s see a photo. Mike.
  10. Nice truck. I’m glad you got the radiator figured out. Your license plate it for a half ton truck. You should get one that starts with a Y. Mike
  11. Congratulations. That’s just what you needed. Post more photos of the trip. Mike
  12. Dose he have one that can be rebuilt? If so, send it to Arthur Gould Rebuilder. They do great work. Mike
  13. It’s about time. Only two weeks till Macungie. It looks like you will have it done. See you there. Mike
  14. He hasn’t been on since November so probably won’t see this.
  15. It’s starting to look like a truck again. Better pick up the pace though. Only three weeks till Macungie. I can’t wait to see it. Great work. Mike
  16. It’s really coming along nicely. It’s great to see your progress. Mike
  17. But I thought you were going to let me put that cab on my B85 from Chicago! I wish I lived closer. I’d love to help you put that back together. Good luck. Mike.
  18. I would bed Cal Little would have one. He has several parts L model fire trucks.
  19. He raised the price from $25 each to $50 each.
  20. My father has a B66 that is getting the engine repaired. It is has an overhead valve EN540. They are basically a gas powered B67. My father also has a parts B66.
  21. I seriously considered buying this is 2018. I believe it is oversized though. My father talked me out of it. I’d still like it. Mike
  22. Tractor supply has farmall red. Just get it done. We’re getting bored with this. Next project: paint the Caddy John Deere green.
  23. Just make that hood red and put the damn thing back together. You’ve dragged this out long enough!!!! Macungie is only 2 months away.
  24. My father always uses polish or rubbing compound. It does leave a ghost of it and I’m sure takes off the base paint around it. Mike
  25. I sure wish I had stopped to see these trucks when I went through Albany last month. They are awesome. Have you been able to sell any? Mike
