  1. Local build cab from a dutch cab builder wat was common in these days
  2. a very nice truck. here back in the netherlands there is this truckingcompany called Haukes Transport who also had 6 Mack B8136SX (6 of the only 60 made by mack). two of them survived and are now in the hands of collectors. I think the B81 in all it's ways is one of the most beautiful and thoughest Mack trucks of the late 50's and early 60's.

A Euclid dumptruck wich Haukes bought from a other truckingcompany. Because Mack stopt producing the B8136SX the people of Haukes searched for other heavy dumptrucks. A contractor of Haukes at the roadworks on the A2 highway sold 3 of these euclids to Haukes.

A couple of Mack B43's at the roadworks in the south of holland in the sixties. Haukes was a big player at the construction of the A2 highway. The Mercedes at the front was the private car of Mr. Theo Haukes, the leading men at the roadworks.

On this picture you see a Mack B61S tractor with a Floor Bricktrailer with a Hulo brick crane fitted on it. The driver could easily unload the bricks from the trailer. Before the brick cranes a couple of 6 people including the driver had to unload the bricks by hand from the truck. That took several hours before the truck was empty. With the brickcranes the trucks could be empty in one or two hours

This was the first Mack N61 sold in the netherlands. It was also the first Mack N61 that Haukes bought. The dutch mack importcompany Floor used this one in advertisements in newspapers and magazines.

In this album you can see pictures of the mack trucks that Haukes & zonen Transport (haukes & sons transportcompany) in Kekerdom in Holland near the german border owned since the end of WWII until the end of the mack period in the late 70's. They had a few models of Mack in the companyfleet like the NR, 1 LMSW Towtruck, The B43, The B61, The N61, 6 B8136SX Dumptruck and The DM600. When the sons of the founder, Mr. Haukes, became directors of the company they changed to volvo trucks because they where cheaper than Mack trucks.
