  1. Mike, They all look vaguely familiar. Seems like you ended up with a real nice r model from your fathers old company as well, right?
  2. No problem here Jocko. Enjoy it but i am a patina fan. Let me know if change mind
  3. Looking good! any more pics of progress?
  4. Hopefully you and Shorty can be there next year. Would be nice to reunite him with his truck. I couldn't find my pic. photo by Jeremy George gg2-you might hurt yourself, let me look at 761
  5. Dennis, Truck was nicely done. They left Shorty's name on the door. I have a pic of it i can post.. It was a great show....Brian
  6. Good eye maddog, looks like 361. Not to mention nice superdog as well
  7. Any chance you have info from mack museum? probably help substantiate prototype idea as well as value..
  8. Thanks Dennis- I noticed it and scolded them over there Yarnall-still time to get that to cortland! p.s i have a tilt hood that is handful of serial numbers away from yellow one above, there were twelve ordered in a row very close to same spec. mine is n761tl 91611
  9. I didnt catch your name jdfordhd but you are on the money with the info of Shorty being just as interesting as truck itself. Would be something for him to come to cortland and that truck and all the others in August! Either myself or one of the other Husky nuts will add what you have said over there....Thanks Brian
  10. I followed this truck on ritchie bros auction. It was originally a detroit 8v92 designated m761. Someone did a heck of a job putting 3408 in there. A bit before my time but word i get is not many early 8v92's went to far so and a 1693 cat wouldnt fit in 761 and v8 did. Awesome pics, mind if i post them on brockway site?
  11. I'm with you. Then suddenly scrap price in that area is highest in country Looks like solid truck and i don't think it would go there.
  12. It is a cummins with 'n' designation. I imagine it is a 230 or 250 non turbo. Thanks for the serial number...Brian serial number would be 68606, model n359 tl 2 . It should be a 68 but may be 69 due to when sold etc.
  13. Denise, glad you are trying to save it. Unfortunately most of the Brockway collectors are in the northeast but there are exceptions. A friend of mine posted it on the brockway site so those guys will see it. Any chance you could post serial number? Most likely truck was sold at D&H truck sales in dearborn,MI. I have a 761 Brockway tilt hood that went through there. Anyway good luck...........Brian
  14. looks good!how many made?Brockway 761 made late 74 but were called 75's to my knowledge
  15. Interesting Mike! What year is it?Funny shares same numbers as Brockway with 761 designation....Brian
  16. Will do. I will pm you. can't believe you are thinking of parting with. I only have a couple macks and mostly brockways.
  17. Come on up and shop. It's getting in the 40's up here
  18. Hi there, i am in otego not far from you. i have run several macks and brockways with similar cracks. I have a guy weld up the crack spray a little hot rod black paint on and go for it. That truck is way overbuilt so a little horizontal crack isnt going to hurt a thing. You re-rail it you have way more invested than truck is worth in my opinion even if you got it for free. I know a welder who will come out and do it....just pm me........Brian I can also tell you where to go to get inspected
  19. no offense gg2, yours dont look like that one ha-ha. To be fair yours is nicer than my 68 rogers. But mine is pretty nice...Brian
  20. Ok there are exceptions to every rule LOL. Auction has ended so we shall see if it was a mack guy or brockway guy?
  21. We Brockway guys are cheaper than you mack guys . It was for sale for less years ago. If anyone here steps up I think you will need a cab which i have.
  22. They posted it on Brockway site like they were going to be hero's and rescue the rare coe. Paul even tried to give them a engine to make up for one in truck to save it. In the end the parts are going to Paul's u459 project. Ernie I have some parts for you sitting in my barn...Brian
  23. Truck sold this morning.
  24. Truck is still available.
  25. Better send it to upstate new york . DEC has been better last couple years. Probably just jinxed myself. Guess i will hook the puff limiter back up after that comment
