Mike-you got me laughing on that one. I guess i will take my 457 down the road and get it welded up!
-
Mike- is the 457 wrecker off limits? My father is more into the b-81 than 759's
-
Your pretty sly superdog

Cool truck. I'll trade you my B-81 and you can swap out 673 to 237. Although i doubt NJ emissions will let you do much other than drive it in a parade. Actually my 673 runs great and why not use it instead of going through the whole swap thing?

B67 value?

That truck looks like it spent time up north to be that rusty. -
Stop buying georgia peaches!

Mike Y.- not too much trouble. Superdog-how about putting the coe wrecker on the trading block? maybe we can swap the wrecker to b-81.gg2-however you come up with the cash.

Looking for power steering box for RD with what i call drop arm, pittman arm I think is correct term. I tried using box off a r685 but rd must have wider front axle because pittman was straight on the R685 as opposed to bend in the rd. When I took it off rd it was froze too the box and we ruined it. Maybe i should go new if available? Any advice appreciated. Thanks Brian One other thought. The way the pittman arm attached to shaft coming off ps shaft differed between the two boxes. Maybe they make a rd pittman arm that would match up with box off the r? hope this makes some sense. i am not a mechanic by any means just trying to keep this old dog on the road.

Mark- I have seen that pic also. I think truck was in NY or Pa. I really liked the Pero Farms 361 with sleeper also. I am not a sleeper expert but it had the imprint like a mercury sleeper, but a few guys told me it might be a knock-off. Nonetheless the truck as a package was bad. Dane Baldwin's 760 tilt with sleeper was really nice as well........Brian 2 stick puppy-garbage truck was originally down near nyc i believe in a cemetary. Owner found it intact and decided to restore it as a packer. I want to say woodlawn cemetary i think it says on it. but i am not sure where exactly that is.

Viiny-nice pics, now you have my cell # so call me and we can finally meet. John H-is yours the 359 with racks? if so i was just ahead of you in parade. Burgundy cabover is my friend Paul Polizzi and has a 318 detroit. GG2-you are correct the 761 black tilt hood harvest truck is Ken Smalls. I think truck count this year was down from 140 last year to 112-115 range. Still a great show and great bunch of enthusiasts......Brian

I think Kyle told me it was on an indian reservation in Florida for most of it's life and was a teal color offered on 55 chevy's. I am going by memory and have burned alot of brain cells over the years so could be off a little........Brian p.s.he did purchase it in Arizona. I have some pics of it being picked up there i can post later

H67-love the pic, what was the name of dealership? Earl's truck sales maybe? Friend forwarded me an old dealer list and it shows it as Earl's in Columbus OH but dated 1974

Mike-put the acar in the barn just in case. Tried something "new" told her about a possible purchase but "fudged the numbers" a little looks like the whole cab might be worth saving on that 300 series....Brian

I'll yield to you on this one. Maybe you should take your in-laws and maybe you win them over talking jd 2 lungers..........Brian p.s. my wife is starting to notice "new addition" brockways more than she used to. So i have to be careful
