  1. More progress a little bit later unfortunately more preparation ha ha I’ve got a new caper in mind. Let you know what I come up with a little later. I’m starting to think I’m going to put the underneath reinforcement backing in first which will give me a nice foundation to start the outside …bob
  2. I thought I saw that truck at Watts truck show. I think it was just one that looked a lot like it certainly same condition. Couple years ago… certainly not hard to look at.. bob
  3. Yes, I checked that out. I didn’t even notice that. Till roadway mentioned that.bob
  4. I think you put this in a wrong area, but I am the same way the highways around here and nothing but drag strips. They’re no fun at all…. with triple trailers a lot of times on better off on straight road if I get swingers, but I have had them on back roads to get around accidents And yes, just like you said you’re usually the only one out there nobody behind you makes it nice ,, without some pushy jackass all over you trying to get around as quick as they can first chance they get. Happy Saturday.
  5. Wow, nice going bud. Thanks for that…. Bob
  6. pretty much lost first time i tryed to drive off ryder parking lot with a 13 sp roadranger brigadeere i was gringing everything....
  7. Just found this one on Google search pretty cool rig
  8. Glass shop can cut anything as long as it’s straight. I bought two of them in the San Fernando Valley California years and years ago for a F model . The guy actually had two of them already cut in stock…. Glass shop. Bob
  9. Well, it went from automatic transmissions to three stick transmissions. I am not sure what the third one was for on that thing I know the older macks had the married box with a two speed browning behind it for top end … bob
  10. Speaking of throwing a bone I wound up with a four day weekend due to internal issues. I am taking care of right now. OK I’m really changing the subject. Where is Joey when you need him ha ha.
  11. excellent once in a while in life, you get thrown a bone doesn’t happen very often. Yes I was practicing on my dad‘s cars. He got rid of the Cadillac and bought the LTD through the process, but I actually went to driving school to make sure I had everything right…. bob
  12. It looks like it takes all the manly out of it. You know I’ve been out on the road since 1972 and I can honestly say I have only seen one girl in my life driving a Mack and that was in a video a few months ago.
  13. I think the pick up was a 64 was a four-wheel-drive with a snowplow… bob
  14. Didn’t realize I put this in the wrong section ha ha oh well somebody might see it
  15. Oh, I would’ve thought those things would’ve moved real quick in that area. I would have ran over and grab one of them if they were closer , you could easily get your money back by selling one component. I had an original Mack key years ago my five year old boy at that time took it out and lost it somewhere. I’m still pissed about that. That was almost 35 years ago bob
  16. Yeah baby back at you bud. This is the only weekend my wife will fix me corn beef cabbage. I could eat it almost every night ha ha.. bob
  17. Actually started my training on my dad’s 64 Cadillac convertible then a 71 LTD… driver trainer car was the Dodge The good old days ….. bob
  18. A buddy of mine had a pick up truck just like that in the 70s. I would guess the cab was the same that sure looks like it…. Bob
  19. Not sure about that. I just thought it was a goofy little car, but it was just a six popper automatic regular hubcaps, but it was a 2 door hardtop like that one.
  20. I don’t remember this one must’ve missed it by the photos. They don’t really look bad at all especially the 800 good luck… bob
  21. Bubba, I don’t even know where to begin with that one Thanks for that and yes, that does not surprise me signed a very dissatisfied customer right now
  22. OK now I’m gonna get balled out for changing the subject. I trained on a car just like this one even in 72. It didn’t look as good as this one does but I remember thinking to myself and this really surprises me at my age now I was only 16. I was looking at that car and thinking what a goofy little bastard 50 years later I think they’re pretty cool … bob
  23. It’s to the point now around here I tell people I broke in on a two stick and they just look at me weird they have never even heard of that…. Bob
  24. That’s kind of funny because I trained on an automatic car then my first car was a stick as I mentioned. They probably can’t find anybody that knows how to shift anything….. make everybody a truck driver put in an automatic.
  25. Also, MD model are popping up pretty heavy around here lately, which is great to see mainly straight trucks real nice looking… bob
