oh i mentioned not sure of the numbers,,,,i also ran,,,what they told me was a 400 cat in a small international conventional,,,,and that thing,wouldnt pull your hat off in a windstorm,,it did not run like the 435 at all,,,but in 1980 it wasnt even invented yet,,,bob -

wow that truck is the bomb man,,,,,,but from the photos,,,the sleeper does look beat to hell,and doesn't seem to match the condition of the rest of it,,,,best of luck to you and your new adventure,,,,so far im impressed with all your vehicle's caterpillar,,,wow,great engine i think not sure of the model numbers,,,but i used to run a 435 cat years ago was a puling SOB,very impressive engine,,, and welcome aboard,,,,bob -

Cutting Way overboard government spending and deportations were a fabulous idea but this caper I feel is not necessary as of yet and should have been handled on a much smaller scale

I’m with you bud I’m not comfortable with it at all … I’m sure the plan might prove profitable… certainly not an overnight success outsourcing American jobs was a bunch of BS to begin with . And I’m sure king trump is trying to get them back here.. but Rome wasn’t built in a day.. and for now I can’t see how this is not going to effect all of us … here’s hoping!!!!!!!!!bob

Ha ha I ran a five speed. I hated that thing 237 Maxine then I traded up to a 350 Thermadyne and a nine speed big difference. -

I was also thinking the same thing after all that work unless you can find a buyer for it that will pay you what you got into it. You’re kind of stuck between a rock and a hard place. I’ve never heard of anybody burning out a transmission, but I got that from a Mack truck salesman years and years ago he said they really weren’t made to take a lot of torque. Maybe just run it a while and see how she performs kind of takes all the charm and romance out of it if you put in something with a one stick good luck whatever you decide Larry. -
