    all most forgot all about this..toooooo long ago,,,one of my first jobs helper on a beer delivery truck 1974 driver hadda a load star IH pulling a loaded budweiser trailer with a gasser,,,seemed to be doing a good job,hauling all that weight...bob

    Might’ve started up that way, but by 1970 they were all over the turnpikes up and down with freight trucks mostly at night. They certainly made a big splash for quite a while. Thanks for that…. Bob

    I have a 66 DM also owned an 87U model. I had the same flat back. I understand they were still using them lotta years after they went to the +3. Not sure what the reason for that was I think they gave people an option on the DM and U model I am only 5-7 and my seat is all the way back in the DM I don’t even know how tall guys fit in them

    That was excellent and yes, the race to the bottom has certainly started pretty scary. I can see a revolution coming. There’s only so far you could push people before they’re sick to death of being pushed getting ready for a colonoscopy this morning and a few hours, it hasn’t been going anywhere near as rough as I thought, get up at 3 o’clock in the morning and finish the magic potion I started last night can’t wait to start eating again ha ha Again thanks for that story and yes, it sounds like you’re nation is not much different than this one … bob
