  1. And yes there’s only one spring at the top bottom is pins with snap rings
  2. Yes I got a tank it’s got dirty cleaner in it right now and yes I ordered 5 gallons of soap for it from Amazon it’s very powerful and yes you have to wear gloves otherwise it burns my skin
  3. They look 3/8s hard to say thier dripping in oil and slop right now
  4. And no, I was not planning on using air tools on them, but as mentioned, they may come already riveted

  7. Excellent thanks for all your help I’m going out in a while just for now I’m going to clean up the shoes with gasoline then start making calls of drive down there hopefully today I got a sneaky suspicion this truck will be in here a while… oh well I’ll start stripping the interior
  8. To tell you the truth, these shoes look like they’re aluminum as that possible They’re so filthy. It’s hard to tell anything about them.

  10. Yes, they agree. It’s a lot of work to just put it back together without doing it right if I do replace the shoes, it would just be that one wheel. it’s a 66.DM607S

  13. And yes, Geoff I have tried to clean oily brake linings they continue to bleed through hobby truck that might not ever leave my property I’m trying to cut corners all the linings are around half worn so I’ll probably try to save them maybe soaking them in some high-powered solvent for a while
  14. Already then thanks for all your input fellas . Last time I needed something I went to Freightliner. they didn’t have what I needed . The parts counter guy was very helpful and glad to Help sending me in the right direction. Same with the Kenworth dealer both places were very much happy to help, even though I was looking for Mack parts.

  16. I punched in a seal number. Google search didn’t come up with anything.
  17. Also brake return spring does anybody have a suggestion? I was just going to measure it and try to find one online.

  20. Wow that was priceless… thanks for that at 69 I’m still messing with lawnmowers … but nowdays thier usually way back burner I do have to replace a broken recoil start spring in my edger soon I got the spring ordered still enjoy pulling them them apart … bob
