  1. i also ran a galaxy dont remember the model,,had the funny channels,,,,,worked real well for around 3 years then it took a dump...bob
  2. man thats a beautiful radio tom,,,and yes we had the same issue,,,,when we started buying the 660s.....nobodys 10 meters would fit

  4. had not messed with spoke wheels in 51 years since i worked in a truck tire shop as a teenager ,,,and yes i did remember to tap the keepers before completely removing the nuts

  6. well it started right up this time,,,not much to report but i am working on it ,,getting close to wet weather ,wanted to finally get rid of these shredded tires before it rains and snows here too much,,,because i really cant move it then,,,ground is too soft doing everything by hand,,,man whata wotkout,,,gonna have to single out these things till i find some replacements
  7. I do have an old cobra 23 channel my father-in-law left me when he passed I will set it up on my garage one of these days and see if I can reach some of the brothers pulling out in the morning don’t know if it will do anything hasn’t been used since the 70s
  8. My last CB I was really surprised. It was the only radio I have ever had where I didn’t need to use the external speaker the stock radio speaker work just fine.

  12. Those colors really look good on that truck makes me think of a tasty dessert at the soda fountain . We don’t have too many of those anymore. It’s no wonder you’re hired hand always looks happy around it… bob

  15. I’m thinking it’s probably that shifter with the chrome round dome with a three speed switch and yes, it does look like a Scandia. I didn’t think they were using them in those years either, but I have seen them and R models.

  17. I think that’s pretty much a universal switch and watts has a lot of them worth a try

  20. Ha ha yes it would be a lot more than that now I also had a 57 back at 1973 but it was a four-door sedan. I sold it and bought a 62 Impala.
