  2. Great logic bud thanks for that. I probably won’t even finish the nose this year. Too much work, so yes I will just continue to spray them. Thanks for the hot tip
  3. Sorry I missed this one. There is actually enough on the outside to grab onto but after spraying them numerous times they still will not budge.
  4. Yes, that was my old lady suggested I picked everything up at Home Depot mask full suit and I goggles. I was not wearing them yesterday since I was mainly sanding paint but thanks for your concern. With all that equipment on, I can just keep my good clothes on. I don’t have to switch to work clothes yes,the more I grind the more I find … god dang just this nose is going to be quite the project, my brother… bob

  7. I drove about 360 miles one time to go look at an old Trans con U model nose got down there and there was a big chunk missing from the right side somewhere I thought well hell this thing is no better than mine and I drove home but after digging into this one it’s actually a lot worse that one would gave been a lot easier to fix bob

  13. Nice looking ride bud I have never heard of that model … bob
  14. Well, for some reason, I felt the need to sand the red to at least the green but the red seems to be very strong paint, so I’m not so sure I have to go through to the green that’s about all I am able to do this go around too much tedious work that’s enough for a little. We’re going to have to start winding down more barbecue tonight. Might be time for a beer. Again, this sanding thing is way more work than I thought.
  15. I was thinking of drilling out the bolts after you mentioned that I might just chop a hole in the side and put nuts and washers on the back
  16. That’s a great idea. Thank you for that more sanding yesterday more sanding today … man paint is not coming off as easy as I though what a ball buster … bob
  17. Yes, it is for a real short nose. I drove a white 9000 for nissens years ago same thing fiberglass short nose was very heavy..bob
