  9. Yeah I don’t know what it is either. I had one crack on me. I just happened to have my hand right on it turning a corner and it cracked right under my hand. It wasn’t even that hot out it was a white 9000 way way back long time ago.
  10. Yes, that’s the plan and no Matt I do not know anyone I have worked with it a couple of times before but yeah I’m definitely grinding off anything loose and starting fresh. Thanks for your input.bob
  11. My God ain’t no doubt there, bud
  12. Thanks for that but yeah that’s exactly what I’m going to do fiberglass outside and inside. I’ll probably gonna have to put a little sheet metal pieces in to hold back since some of the spots are completely bare. I need suppling back there to hold the web. Thanks for the tip but I have not bought a can of Bondo and 30 years really didn’t know where to start. I already got a small fiberglass kit to get started from Home Depot. also need to go back there tomorrow night to find another sanding device. That tiny little drillbit is taking too long to go around the contours. And yes, I am looking forward to the fun challenge of reshaping everything … bob
  13. Oh yeah, bro the more I dig in the more I find I had a chance to buy a nose off a an old trans con U model around 15 years ago 500 bucks. I passed on it because it had some damage on it as well. I’m starting to think I should’ve bought the damn thing I could’ve got her cleaned up a little bit easier than this one ha ha. oh well more of a challenge, my friend. Bob
  14. 25 more weeks and I won’t be in my 579 either… bob

  17. And yes, Paul the more I dig into this the worst it looks. It’s becoming a little more of a project than I thought, but we’re getting it done. You might be sleeping now. ….
  18. I don’t think they made a 350 Maxidyne . I had one, and it was a Thermadyne. You’re wonder what’s the glider kit and where did the 350 come come from? Kind of piece together but it’s in really good shape. … bob

  21. Just found out an old buddy of mine passed a few days ago we used to be pretty tight. I kind of lost touch with himI have to say it put me a little off a bunch of shit going outside. I just put everything away and came in the house, kind of a shocker, we were both the same age.
  22. Yes, I hadn’t thought of that. It’s always a real bitch when you get home and you got everything except for the one little thing you need first and forgot to pick up. Such as 15 sheets plywood 45 2/4s oh, what the hell I forgot the nails
  23. But yes, I’m with you, I would root for the Cubs besides, they have cooler caps
  24. Believe I misspelled it supposed to be white socks
  25. I did not want one at all. wife just drive me to work and pick me up one morning Donner Pass was closed. I was stuck on the other side and she did not know where I was or when I was going to be back so she forced me to get the first one I was kicking and screaming . Now I can’t even wipe my ass without holding it in my other hand like a teenage girl. I used to at least leave it at home when I was not working now I even carry it around when I’m off duty. but yes, I think the Motorola had a lot more accessible free apps and the voice text worked a lot better. And the Motorola phone was a lot cheaper…. Bob
