  2. not sure if this helps,,,,these doors originally had the later door latch,,,and as you can see old latch fit right in
  3. There was somebody on here recently that was saying he was having trouble trying to match one to the other. I don’t know. I did not have any trouble at all as I mentioned the older stuff fit right in there and the doors close fine
  4. that’s just about the size of it Bubba the other tramp should buy a box of Kleenex and walk back to where you came from with all your taxpayer funded fat wallet
  5. Well, it originally came with a single longhorn through the year as I put a set of double trumpets on it I like the way they sound a little bit better, but I decided that I like the way the single horn looks that it originally had a while back. I messaged Barry and he told me he did not have any at the time, but he’s checking into ordering more because he’s still getting a big demand for them and about a month later he messaged me that they came in. I guess he had to find a different vendor that was manufacturing them I really wasn’t anywhere near using those parts, but I wanted to grab them while they were available I might have to just jump on that roof. Sometime next spring, any improvements would make it look a little better than it does
  6. Hell, I didn’t expect that I remember when I was a kid you could not even eat a dollars worth of candy
  7. I don’t know when they changed the style, but I have later model doors on my DM and the old style latches fit right in. I think they’re around 1982 Ish but no I do not know the answer to your question.
  8. just punch in vander haags parts they have a used DM complete dash used 716 bucks
  9. i have done that many times in the big rigs,,,like look man,,,its not me
  10. I remember that segment what about when you’re following some slow poke and then I got some jackass tailgating you like it’s all your fault. Wait a minute what’s wrong with this picture this guy is dragging his feet and I’m the one getting tailgated. What’s wrong with this picture?
  11. That was excellent thanks I work for motor cargo for a short time. I haven’t seen one of their trailers in years until this.
  12. I was really impressed when I got the axle out the bearings and the races are in really good shape. Don’t even look to be any wear
  13. lol well I was hoping this thing was not gonna be in the garage this long but everything’s taking longer than I figured and yes, between the grease oil dart and heat it all turns to cement after years and years, and you can’t even get it off with a chisel

  22. excellent,,,,i dont think any of us knew you bought it,,,,,great choice,,looks like you got pretty good sheet metal,,,thats always a big plus,,,have a ball with it,,bob
  23. Thanks for that Dave. Yes, I believe it probably works because as we discussed, Dawn dish soap does look pretty good job also with a brush if it’s not that bad just a little oily and greasy, the dawn will take it right off. right now I’m back at it with a bowl of gasoline and a brush. Sometimes if you don’t have the proper equipment, you just have to make do with what you’ve got. I used to have access to a forklift until I got this little chicken. Shit debate with the neighbor, but you know how that goes. It doesn’t take much where people quit talking to you for some reason or another
  24. OK, thanks for that fellas after lunch I pretty much came up with the same thing. Save a lot of work as geoff said they don’t really do a whole lot.
