    Boy, whoever recommended double coins, tires thanks again I found some for 183 apiece. Hell you can’t beat that with a stick. I am going to start with four of them for now. I really don’t even need all 8 drive tires since it’s not going to be any weight on it I don’t need the inner’s right now. Just kind of looks funny.

    More sanding knocked out quite a bit of it so far this weekend still trying to find more numbers on the steering box. I’ll have to get under there and scrape and brush it some more.. at least I know where to look now

    I was just sitting here thinking ,, you ever figure it out how much weight you can put on that thing I suppose you’d have to put it together and go weigh it to tell I’m thinking around 12,000-14000 but rough estimate single axle who knows how much the steer axle is going to absorb… again hats off to the progress bud .. bob

    Wasn’t sure if I was clear on that. Their website stated they do not rebuild them anymore but when I talk to them they said yes we still have lots of parts for them so I’m glad the shop boss suggested I call them. And yes, he was quite familiar with the place.

    Our shop boss recommended I call straight line and talk to them. Good thing I did they said yes we do not rebuild them anymore but we do have a lot of parts for them. Just need more numbers off the box. I will do that Saturday weekdays. I am too busy. Thanks again for your help.

    Do you know I don’t know what they are I see a lot of them piggybacking across 80 W. going towards Sacramento and Reno also, I am seeing some running across 80, triple trailers …brand, new ones they’re real nice I think they’re anthem. I am not sure since I hardly see any out here except at a distance, not sure one model from another. … bob
