  2. We had an outfit out here years back ran F models too many years ago. I can’t remember the name of the company but they had the same size fuel tanks. I talked to one of the drivers one day. He said they’re set up that way so they could run California to Elpaso and back without fueling.

  5. Ha ha that does not surprise me. One of our driver trainers was telling me a while ago some guys get in the truck and want to know what that is for????? Man how times have changed … but then a bunch of our drivers that used to run. Radios quit running them on a count of there is nobody out there to talk to .. a friend of mine drives for yellow he was telling me hardly anybody over there. He uses them now and their last batch of Ryan New peterbilts didn’t even come with a place to put one… Bob

  9. Forgot to mention it has been raining all week. I turned off my yard sprinklers Monday cause it was snowing.
  10. We finally got rid of our snow now it is been dark and cloudy all week here in Reno. It’s raining and cold right now. We don’t really have a whole lot of truck shows in my area. I usually wind up flying back there someplace.

  14. Forgot to mention, are used to sleep in a U model had a board between the seats eight full hours, but I am only 5 foot seven and I am not sure at 67 if that would be so appealing ha ha

  19. I really like my Pete as far as w work performance and some what decent looks for anything these days but yes,,,, most of us would prefer the R model… just the way matlack or west Lynn creamery had them setup ooooooooooooo lala!!!!!!!.. Bob

  22. I switched an old Chevy pick up years ago from 6 to 12 V I really don’t even really remember how I did it or hooked it up it was also 40 years ago ha ha
  23. What about the heater? I doubt I’ll be ever using it anyway or the electric horn steering wheel???? Bob
